Mini-review of the new 1/6 scale high heeled shoes from Wondery Toys, which are steeper and look like they're made to fit the Phicen heeled foot (on the latest 4.0 figures and the new 5.x/stainless steel figures). They look OK, but don't really work very well. These are the heels in Pepper Red, which is a shiny patent leather-like material, worn on Phicen 4.0 high heeled feet.

These heels look pretty good -- they fit decently and have a good, solid heel that means a figure has a decent chance of standing up in them, though I find getting a balance point for these heeled feet to be a perpetual challenge.
If you're looking for shoes for your Phicen figures, the closed-toe Wondery Toys heels aren't bad. They come in this red, "luxury gold," "ocean blue," and "modern black," and they all have the same shiny leather-like finish. The 5.x foot is way too floppy and useless to stand up in these, but if you have a stand or something the figure can lean on, at least they won't look too bad.

Wondery 1/6 Scale High Heels (Wild Black) by edwicks_toybox, on Flickr
This is the second pair of Wondery Toys high heels, which are just plain awful. They're way too big for a Phicen foot.

Side view of the "wild black" heels. Between the loose fit on the foot and the tiny stiletto heel, there's no way a Phicen figure can possibly keep balance in a standing pose on these. In addition to this black, they also come in "fashion brown" (which looks like suede) and "pure white" (which is a little less textured than these shoes).

Wondery Toys Heels on Triad Alpha Feet by edwicks_toybox, on Flickr
At a friend's suggestion, I tried the larger Wondery Toys shoes on a Triad Alpha and was pleasantly surprised to see that they fit perfectly on the medium heel, both with a stocking and without. The figure had no trouble balancing on the stiletto heel, either.

Alternate angles to show how well the shoes fit. I'm still not sure that these are worth it, since they fit exactly one set of feet and the price of one pair is more than what you'd pay for the Triad set of 3 heeled shoes. But if you want something different for your 1/6 Triad ladies, I guess.
Not planning on getting any more of these Wondery Toys open-toed heels.
