NEW RELEASE PL2016-M33

Dear clients, here comes a new member, PL2016-M33, our4th. 1:6 scale seamless male figure body with stainless steel skeleton following its three seniors: PL2015-M30, PL2016-M31 and PL2016-M32, which are broadly acclaimed by clients all over the world.

PL2016-M33 stands 30cm, to satisfy different DIY needs, we include a pair of feet connector/adaptor with which you can make it 1cm taller. As for the physique, it's beautiful in the sense of being muscular in a very well-proportioned way, check out the pics to see that for yourself please.

If you ever had your hands on any of our first two models, then you know how
flexible/posable/durable they are, how the skin feels like and despite some
aspects to improve, how aesthetically beautiful and anatomically scientific the
bodies are. As mentioned above, the first two models have got loads of attention
and reviews, good and bad, we appreciate them all. They guide us the right direction to go. Combine that with our strong R&D and manufacturing strength, we could do better with higher efficiency.

If you're new to our 1:6 scale seamless male figure body series, below is the basic info for you to get started:

PL2015-M30: of muscular build, has enjoyed great popularity since it's debut.
PL2016-M31: of regular build and taller than PL2015-M30, which stands approximately 31cm.
PL2016-M32: physique of Asian men, slim with very tight muscles. Will be available by end of Aug.

Similarities they share:
Boasting human-like skin texture, and being super flexible, posable and
durable.

Detailed info:
Its internal skeleton armature is made from durable stainless steel to withstand playability without being easily damaged or corrupted. Each armature has 28 points of articulation, using ball-jointed system, for maximum flexibility and movement. Each joint is designed to move freely and consistently with 90% accuracy. With the slightest effort, this body is capable of making countless dynamic poses to imitate any posture of any character.

The stainless steel armature is wrapped with a non-toxic, environmentally friendly medical-grade material specially developed for Phicen bodies. The material features durable, anti-cracking qualities that are easy to clean, but not easy to stain or dye. Additionally, the skin texture is designed to deliver a tactile experience of real skin.

While built for playability, this Phicen seamless figure body is NOT a toy - it is a
sophisticated 1:6 scale model designed to realistically simulate the real human
by using superior materials and quality execution. Anatomically correct though,
it's not designed to be a sex toy either. They are used in the aspects of character design, cos-play, modeling, photography, painting, anatomy, or simply figure collection.

NOTE:
These products include NO head sculpt.
They all come in suntan, the skin tone matches that of most head sculpts from other mainstream 1:6 scale action figure companies.

Now this is interesting! Has anybody tried Phicen bodies for modern mil kitbashing?

Would like to know how well do they take shooting poses and if the SS/DAM/ES clothes and vests fit well over them.

I imagine they are HT HS compatible, but will SS, DAM Or ES head sculpts fit on these bodies or are mods needed?

Also would they accomodate wihout mods SS/DAM/ES gloved hands or are the wrists of the HT type.? What about the ancles?

This particular body seems very promising in height and shoulder dimensions, so any feedback would be appreciated

I haven't used the male body I have for much yet, but the female body uses the same armature and I think it can take some of the best shooting poses of any figure, jointed or seamless/male or female:

Can't speak for how well clothing fits over them, but I'd expect you'd want stuff that's cut a bit bigger. I'd expect the average DAM Toys set would work OK, but to be honest I've never tried.

I like this new body and may grab one, though I've had a devil of a time finding heads that will fit my M31 body. I have exactly one ACI that fits without a problem -- the rest seem to need a bit of adjustment of the neck peg inside the head.

Since I do historical , I've not thought about seamless figures yet , but this is probably the best I've seen so far.
My main anatomical observation , which applies to this as to all the previous efforts in the genre, is that the shoulder joint isn't right. There seems to be no cavity in the armpit, the point of pivot is too far out from the body , and when the arm is lifted it thus seems wrong. And the elbow when bent is an unnatural soft shape.
Oddly, the " Sims " CG generated figures that one sees online have precisely the same faults.
Is the one influencing the other , I wonder ?

Ohh thanks Stryker I'll bear that in mind. Yep he is the guy from outlander I've read and listened to the books that many times , I can't recommend them enough .... loads better than Game of thrones !

I'm not sure if I want Sam or the Jamie from the books will have to think on it .

So how would the extenders work for his legs?

Ahh, I kinda figured. I've never watched the show, but I see the commercials all the time when I watch those channels. It seems too Romance Novely for me. Not really into Bodice Rippers, but then, it's probably geared more to you ladies, anyway. Peter could definitely make a HS for you based on the TV version, as long as you could get him a decent front and profile pics.

I recently got Phicen's first male body (M30, the muscular one) and was thoroughly impressed by its poseability and function. Unlike most seamless bodies, the 'skin' bends at joints in a natural way, the range of motion is excellent, and by all accounts, the material won't degrade as easily as most. The only things lacking were the sculpting and short height. This new body seems to correct both issues. This is a new gold standard being set right here.

Yes the penis does "appear" to be integrated to the figure, but does anyone know for sure if it is (yes or no?)? I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere online.

Oh the books are anything but bodice rippers they are everything rolled into a novel mystery romance, adventure, mystism, what I like about them the most is the history Diana gets it right and what's more she makes me look it up hell I'd never read 'Paul revere's ride ' until one of her books. Or the trail of tears?

Wow. I love that Phicen has really listened and addressed all the feedback that's come their way. And of course there will always be little tweeks, but overall, they've dealt with every issue that has kept me from picking up one of their male seamless bodies. So I definitely plan on using these for some projects in the future.

I still wish they would release the body they are using for the Steve Reeves by itself. I've been dying to do a more comic book inspired Conan to go with my Red Sonja (If you're not reading the Conan stuff Dark Horse has been doing, you're missing out. It's fantastic) and the 1st body Phicen did is just to short for Conan. (the Steve Reeves body IS supposed to be taller, right?)

But between this and their upcoming Bruce Lee style body, I think they've got covered pretty much ANYTHING else I can see working on for the foreseeable future. Very excited.

I pre-ordered the new body when it was announced a couple of months ago and it was scheduled for late August. I think I'll order either a Chris Evans head or maybe Paul Rudd.
I was very impressed by the quality and poseability of both the women's and men's bodies. Also got Sparta Warrior while I was at it. Woow! What an amazing figure too!

I may have to get one...the original is still, by far my favorite. I don't care that he's a little shorter, real people are not all six feet tall...and not every man is hung like a porn star. I would love it if this new figure had a little more muscle in his legs...action figures seem to always have skinny legs. If you look at current Olympians, you see that their lower limbs are just as muscular and beefy as their upper body. And since I use them as models for artistic reference, I'd like the proportions to be evenly distributed. Phicen far exceeds other 1:6 manufacturers in the range of motion realism. Keep 'em coming!

Agreed, the original is still the best (agreeing without having new release in hand). Skin tone match is what I like best about it. But this release raises the question: Why has Phicen done so much to improve the female figure(s) but paid less attention to the males?

#39 ·
I agree it looks promising, but experience has taught me to wait to see it in hand first; it does seem to have addressed some of the shortcomings of M30 and M31, which were already the best bodies of their kind. The advertising photos can be a little misleading at times (as in the case of M31). As for the questions about the shape of the bent elbow, if M30 and M31 are to be considered as comparisons, the thicker arms should help (M30 looks a lot better then M31 with bent elbows). The compatibility of the metal pegs with other hands and feet is not necessarily assured, but HT and HT-type hands and feet usually work reasonably well. You can see a more detailed discussion in my comparative review of M30 and M31 from a couple months back.

As an update to my previous post, I have just received the new Phicen PL2016-M32 (the "Asian" tightly-muscled body). I had my suspicions after the mildly disappointing M31, but I am relieved and pleasantly surprised by M32, its sculpt, accessories, etc. I plan on writing up a very positive review. Meanwhile, I think it is safe to say that if the next release, M33, includes the same improvements as M32, alongside the promising changes in appearance, it ought to be the best Phicen male seamless body action figure product yet.

Stupid question: nipples? My one complaint about the M31 was their total absence. Unlike the ladies, I'm all about using a seamless male body completely topless (yes it's a double standard no it doesn't bother me ;)). No nipples meant the dude looked WEIRD.

Haven't seen any good shots online yet of the M32. My second complaint is that a lot of neckless heads just didn't fit on the M31, but that's another story.

#43 ·
Every Phicen super-flexible seamless male body has sculpted nipples, which look ever so slightly different in each case. M31 does have them, but they are placed a little too high on the chest, producing a rather unsightly effect. Otherwise the real problem with them is, as I wrote in my comparative review of M30 and M31, that they are not painted, unlike the nipples on Phicen's female bodies, or the nipples on those Hot Toys, ACI, World Box, etc, bodies that are designed to be possibly displayed bare-chested. That is why they often do not appear visible. Mixing some silicone glue with some acrylic paint is a viable solution, but you shouldn't have to do such customization on figures at this price point.

In my experience it is usually the female heads that sometimes have trouble with the Phicen (female) bodies. The male heads generally seem to fit, although sometimes the inside neck connector is placed too high in the head. Luckily, the inside neck connectors in male heads are usually movable and can be adjusted.
