Painting Nipples?

Okay.

Been really wanting to paint the nipples on the few HT fem bodies I got however I'm not much of a painter so I've been experimenting on some extra Cy Girls chest plates to try my hand at painting. The results have been 50-50 but nothing I really like.

So my question is for a cauassin body what would be the best color paint scheme to achive the desire effect. I've seen some of the customs here and Silent Surfer's outstanding Machiko that he did so I guess this would be the best place to ask in here instead of the Tips & Tricks section.

Thanks for any help, guys.

I am sorry that you haven't received a reply. I haven't posted one before because, quite simply, I think that there are others much better equipped to answer than me. You can see my attempts at painting nipples with the post entitled Anara below.

The first thing is that, even if you consider only women of European ethnic origin, there is still considerable variation in nipple colour, size and shape. It is probably worth looking at pictures of topless women to get an idea first. I found this part a pleasant experience anyway. I already had a range of Vallejo acrylic paints in the red/brown range and I used one of these - "red leather" I think.

I was painting the hot toys body and, because the breasts are pliable, it was difficult to get the paint to stay on. This should be less of a problem where a hard plastic has been used. It actually worked to my advantage in one shot - where she is wearing a net top. Some nipples seem to be pink-ish at the tip but red/brown at the base. Because the paint was unintentionally removed from the tip I thought that it looked quite realistic.

I hope that this helps.

well as far as color goes, yeah they run quite a gambit...pink, skin color, ruddy brown...like I said the whole gambit. Obviously a bit of internet searching should provide more then enough visual options for you :wink. I've used a variety of techniques on the CYs I've mod'ed. Sometimes I'll use a small brush and on others I've used an airbrush.

Well I took everyone's advice and I did enjoy the research aspect of it :wink and I think it came out fairly decent (sorry no pics at the moment). Now all I have to do is figure out how to do frackles and I'll be golden.

Freckles can be done by loading up a roughed up brush with a semi thin wash of "freckle colour" and flicking the end of the brush lightly with your finger over the area to be freckled. The paint should lightly spatter giving a nice coverage of freckles. You can go back over an area multiple times to achieve a heavier effect.

to paint nipples, use a pencil eraser for the larger circle. Dip it in paint then, place it on the breast. hold firmly then lift off.
use a flat end of a paintbrush handle or dowl for the tip.

I use flesh tone for the color (usually one shade darker than the normal skin).

I think the first step would be to ask her if she WANTS her nipples painted. :lol

If she says yes, tell her you left your paint brush at home, so you will have to use your tongue................:wink

When I've had nipples to color, I use dry pigments. This allows the color to fade very naturally.Just apply until you have a shade you like, then seal, though keep in mind that the sealer coat may darker them slightly(this just gets worse with every word, doesn't it?)...PS

I drill (ouch!) a small hole in the center of each breast.Put a dab of Squadron white putty
in the hole. Slightly form it,let it dry ,then paint it with thinned oil base paint, then dull coat.
Majority of the nipples,as in real life, I pain brown, the rest, pink.
Why do this? The nipples will stand out underneath clothing.(As they do at times)
