Re: HT Tumbler- NEW PRODUCTION PICS (hi-res)

~ 600$ shipped to me (420euros) , i might be able to pay for it, but as cool as it looks, i have no way to justify paying that (for me personally).

That thing is HUGE!!!! Judging from the pics its almost 3 feet in length!! But I think the big question is how HT is going to convince ppl to lay down half a grand for a tumbler. The tumbler is has been already been faithfully recreated by mass market toy companies. If fact there has already been a tumbler created with a plastic body and rubber wheels around 18 inches in length, for about 30 dollars. Maybe I am a pessimist, but I don't believe HT will be able to sell this one as successfully as their 12 inch figures!!!! I think Hot toys should have used metal for their tumbler instead of plastic, to make is stand out to the collector!!!

That's a sweet idea, but can you imagine how much it would cost if it were metal... and the shipping weight would make it even more painful to buy. I think plastic is the only realistic option.

Wookster,

Any word on when it will hit the United States? Personally, I hope it's a few more months. I still have Dutch, Predator, and Mark I to pay for.
I have to admit I have no idea at the moment, I have a feeling they'll be rolling out in HK over the next couple of weeks, so I would imagine the container ships will start hitting the US in a month or two, just guessing though.
