Thought I'd post this seeing as there's not much chatter about it on Onesixthwarriors. Sorry If this has already been posted but I couldn't see the information on the forum.

He's going to come with the following:

  • The iconic black Chinese suit
  • The white Kung Fu shirt
  • A pair of black Kung Fu shoes equipped with magnet chips , stand tight on the metal stand provided.
  • RM-3 Body
  • 4 Interchangeable Wing Chun Hands - intricate hand detailing.
  • Exciting Kung Fu accessories - a Wing Chun Wooden Dummy with tile print metal stand and a Wing Chun booklet that has demonstrations on the Wing Chun routines
  • Chicken feather duster
  • Deluxe Box Set Packaging

Something worth noting is the mention of the stand (pictured below) It's fully metal and his shoes are magnetic which holds him in place, hmm interesting idea. Just hope his ankle joints are strong eh?

The likeness is spot on and even if it's half as good as the preview shots, it's still going to be an amazing figure. The sculpt is provided by their master sculptor Y.J Park, he's done some fantastic work for Enterbay already and to be honest (in my humble opinion) is the best 1/6 head sculptor in the industry. What I love about his work is that his sculpts always capture a little bit of emotion each time. Something Hot Toys often gets criticised for is their almost blank doll like faces that some figures have (ahem Sam Worthington as Perseus for example) and yes I realise it is because of some likeness rights stating no "excessive expressions"
but come on a little emotion is always needed in high end figures such as these.

According to the official Enterbay site, the body is a newly developed RM-3 body. Let's hope it's a bit better than the previous RM attempts. My Jack Bauer is more unsteady on his feet than the real Kiefer Sutherland ha. Enterbay does state that this body will have more articulation than previous and will also be lighter to improve stability. (I've actually always liked how chunky and heavy Enterbay bodies feel but I guess it is a danger for those wanting to display figures high up on a shelf)

Did you see the film? The feather duster actually plays a cool little role in a one of the fight scenes.

And I agree on the proto vs. production piece issues that Enterbay has been having. These pics look great, but I'd like to see some in-hand pics.

Amazing figure, but yes you really do pay for it. :p

For those who don't know, Donnie Yen is a famous Hong Kong actor, director, and martial artist (among other things).

The figure represents Donnie as he appeared in the HK movie, Ip Man, a biography about the life of the first grandmaster of the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun to teach the style openly. One of Ip Man's students was the incomparable Bruce Lee.

I'm a huge fan of Donnie Yen (can't wait to see the Ip Man sequel) and this is a very cool fig indeed.

But the price, ay yi yi!

You're joking, right?

This is one of the closest sculpts I've seen in a good while. I think the last time I was this taken aback, I had just laid eyes upon my first DX Joker, which was sent to me by mistake, lol.

No movable eyes this time but still looks absolutely fantastic! Dress the figure in jeans and t-shirt for Donnie Yen's role in Operation Flash Point! I like that movie even though it's under-rated because of all the mixed martial arts moves it incorporates like the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu flying submissions.
