Greetings everyone. Been sometime I have posted.
Here some images of the Masada itself. Reason why I am posting this images and why I am giving this review of the ACR Magpull Masada from the SST Cobra Viper.
I got the gun in from Monkey Depot with help from Cerberus for PMing me that they did had ONE in stock.
My first impression of this gun is a nice piece of plastic. But a bit "much" for a piece of plastic. 27.00. BUT I was very impressed of how sturdy this little gun is.
Leave enough room for a PMC type or style like bash. Personally, I would repaint the gun to be Black or Tan. The Ugly Green this gun has is... nasty in color.
The Stock does retract. But does not have a Stopper. SO the stock can be pulled off if you want to do some moding to the Gun.
And it does fold.
Very nice and sturdy accessories. But they have to be slide on the rails instead of the old push them on and pray the pin doesn't break.
Be careful installing the Surefire Tac Torch. The lower Rail isn't very sturdy and it may break off from the hand guard.
NOW!
Here comes my nitpick of this little piece of plastic.
Notice the pistol grip. It show be more angler. I guess SST use some comic book art work to make this gun for the Viper.
The angle should be close to 25 degrees while this one is close to 10 degrees.
Also, the Barrel Gas piston area is missing the Lug. *sorry didn't take the picture of that.*
Other Thoughts.
It not a bad little 1/6th scale gun. To bad no one really uses them in the military anymore do to Production cost. Also a Massive Recall of the Civilian model with Sear problems.
BUT nether the less. It still a nice little piece of plastic that can be use for anything. I would fix the Pistol Grip and maybe add that Gas Tube lug.
I score this.
6.5 out of 10.
