I know where you're coming from and to be honest you're not missing much! just 3 more pictures and that was the best one.
Anything worth mentioning I'll copy and paste.
having said that there are some interesting 1/6 groups on Facebook, plus I sold a ton of stuff that I tried shifting for ages on most of the 1/6 fora and eBay. for that reason alone it's been very useful.

That is amazing, and that equipment in the background shows just how serious an operation Armortek is. Fortunate are those who get one of these beauties.

I'd like to add a few links showing RainbowAvenue's amazing 1:6 cardboard version. A few images are missing from the first thread, but many remain in the follow on threads:

I believe another member, a teacher, built one and showed it to his students. OSW's been fortunate to have all of these creative fellows aboard.

Our group did a dio for one of the Weekend of heroes shows a few years back and we had an excellent WW1 tank, made of various materials, wood, cardboard, foam etc. and it turned out very nice indeed...we ended up selling the tank and dio afterwards.

This is one made from Styrofoam super details and super easy to move around cause it is so light...this was made by Chris or Pte Snafu from the Ottawa club. It looks even better in person and he has made it interchangeable so you can change out the machine guns to cannons..

very impressive crusader1! i'd rather 1/6 vehicles made from something like Styrofoam, Light and repairable! my DiD halftrack fells like it weighs a ton and it's so awkward it needs two people to move it safely! The Ottawa crew do some really nice work. some of their big World War II dios are second to none!

Ah...me lucky charms.

This tank was built from foam and cereal boxes for the WOH dio we did. The model came out better than I had hoped and the best part was I didn't lose a nut lifting it. The name is from the flavor of cereal that my kids ate which the boxes came from. Glad that they didn't eat All bran or Colon Blow for that matter. Fun to see her again and I have threatened to build another but who knows if that will ever happen. I have gotten into airbrush and would love to repaint the ol' girl and give her a proper skin.

I can't resize the files for the show pics...so I'm posting a link to where you can see them better. The finished dio was amazing.

I still say it was more Stove Top than Lucky Charms but the name sounds better.

i'd rather use real words like impressed opposed to made up ones like WOWZERS!

great work siquisiri, the tank and dio look fantastic! if I made something like that I wouldn't be interested in spending hundreds upon hundreds on one of these commercial jobs!
