See subject.

These are outfit sets . . . very minimal outfit sets . . . for our 1:6 female figures.

The "T&A" World Cup Series anyone?

;)

I get that these figures are solely to feed the male fantasy. I can't, however, help but feel offended by them. Meh. Where's the US Mens team and Ronaldo? No need for fantasy gear for them, their uniforms are just fine. :lol

There was some discussion at one point about 1:6 "Chippendales" outfits as a limited/private run elsewhere for "muscular" type 1:6 male base bodies.

Bizarre. Given that the World Cup is on, why not do "proper" team kit?

Enterbay have had success with their line of Basketball players, so why not footballers. Football is far more popular than basketball globally. I think a lot of non-collectors would like a figure of their heroes, particularly iconic stars such as Pele or Maradona.

While we're on this . . .

Are there any World Cup soccer pros whose name don't end with a vowel?

I'm just asking.

Well, this should help boost the popularity of soccer among my 1/6th population. The NFL has cheerleaders, right- so why not soccer?

Then how come we've yet to see "NFL-ish" cheerleader outfits for our 1:6 female figures?

Cant help but agree. This very Meh. Proper team kits would have been good. I would have bought a 66 England kit in a flash

I probably have a problem, since my first thought was "How the heck could they dribble, pass and shoot in those shoes?!"

Fair question, with the follow-up being "the shoes - hell - they won't get two steps without revealing themselves in those shirts."

Might as well not wear any.

Nudist soccer, anyone?

Rogerbee, the head in the majority of photos was their first, called Luna, and it came out last year and is still around but scarce. The second, dubbed Leona, is up for pre-order at Vantage Collectibles. The third, seen here and dubbed Angela...that's news. The first head has had at least one re-release, and Wondery sells them on eBay too. They have wigs like the Kumik heads. The blonde wigs pictured here are a new twist as well.

Haha. I'd pass on that; not the "Magic Mike" type. But I'll take fit guys on the field any day. Soccer, NFL, CFL, whatever... I'm not too picky. Surfers are good too. Yes, I'm a sport addict :lol

Yes! Yes! Yes! I'd also love to add Ronaldo, Beasley, Dempsey, Jones, oh, why be picky... if someone would make any of the players from any team past or present, I'd buy.

You're right about the popularity being greater that the NBA world-wide. Are FIFA and other leagues like the NFL when it comes to licensing? Or have companies just failed to see the potential to earn some money from non-collectors, especially in World Cup years?

You like the CFL? Good for you! Canadian Football doesn't get the respect it deserves, IMHO. Longer, wider field, only 3 downs, played in +90F to -30F.....lots of NFL players come up too....

It was through the NFL that I was introduced to the CFL. Granted its harder to catch the games here, but I enjoy it when I can watch.
