Hi All,

This was a difficult project, had to use two different WW dolls to source the parts and didn't have to modify the TBL body, but it was super hard to fit the breast armor plates on. Also, using gold paint was a pain in the you know what. Anyone have a good gold paint that works well on plastics and dries to the touch without a sealant?

Is the armor difficult to remove? Any tips for removing? I bought the Black Label Barbie, but then I started to think, maybe, I should experiment on the less expensive "battle action shield" version.

Mr.Hoss: The armor on the Barbie WW is easy to take off, just heat it up with a hair dryer and pull it apart.

Gold nail polish seems to work better for me than gold enamel paint.

Looks great! If it was a pain to make, it was still worth it. For gold paint, I find bronze acrylic to be an easy and reasonably close approximation.

If that armour is PVC I wouldn't use any enamel paint at all... it will never dry on it. Same with nail varnish. Only use acrylics on PVC.

Plastique: So, only use a gold acrylic paint on hard plastics? What about on rubber? The boots are a soft bendable rubber, use acrylic for that as well? Do you suggest any brand specifically?
