So...rather nervous posting this. I've been a lurker here for quite some time, but never felt like I had much to contribute. I started this project back in February...Got re-hooked on the show and really wanted some decent action figures for it [I have the tiny Diamond Select ones, but they did a sad job with their cast of characters in my opinion].

So I decided to make some...eleven characters total, just picked my favorites as otherwise I'd be making, what? Twenty figures easy otherwise *chuckle*.

The heads and clothes are all handmade, bodies are various generations of HT Truetypes, shoes are SideShow, and the weapons are a hodgepodge of things I've picked up [i.e. No clue].

My photography skills are...lacking...but I hope you guys enjoy, [take it easy on me!] I do plan on updating this here and there as things get done. Thanks for looking!

Very, very awesome work man. I really like your interpretation on the characters. Weir, Zelenka, Telya and Kolya are among some of my favs from your group so far. Especially Weir, you captured the look rather well.

Any plan for Ronan & Dr. Keller down the road?

Great work. Your painting skills as well as your tailoring skill are very impressive. Your sculpting is also very detailed. Only issues I have are the likenesses are a bit off in my opinion, but that is very hard to achieve, hottoys can’t get it right sometimes too.

Phew…Gotta run off to work, but you guys just seriously made my day, thanks all of you!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you like Weir, she was probably the trickiest to capture out of all of them o_0
And Ronon is definitely in the works, I'm just having one heck of a time finding a suitable body [KP02 is TOO massive, the TT19's too short…praying right now that Enterbay releases their NBA body in different tones]. Keller…not so much, sorry. I'm trying to stick with the first three seasons as otherwise I'd be making close to twenty figures and I'd need a bigger paycheck for that XD

OMG do you secretly work casting heads for some big company
Bwahaha…God, I wish! Just me and my tiny pressure pot in the basement fighting off the air bubbles ^_^

*chuckle* Awww, but I like pointers! I'll actually probably need some help tackling Todd's hair [as you can see, he's very bald at present] and Ronon when I get him casted up…and possibly gear, I don't know the names of a lot of what was used on the show. I know P90 aaaaand that's about it XD

And when I was searching for SGA customs, yours were basically the only ones that came up. I love that you took existing sculpts and "bended them to your will' so to speak [I can't do that, I tried once and it sorta started to fall apart XD]. Dude, for early work you picked one heck of an ambitious project.
And yay! More sci-fi fans, Hi!!!!

If you decide to offer casts let me know, I could use some more stargate figures to go with my SG1 team.
Those are lovely…Sunohc's work is part of the reason I started seriously thinking about sculpting for the hobby. As for casts…yeeeah, that's part of the plan as soon as the humidity dies down, ^_^

Ah, man, Thank you! And I honestly agree on the likenesses. At this point I'm just trying to get over my "it must be perfect" mind set…I can work on a head for six months and it'll still never be PERFECT [just don't want to get torn to shreds like Hot Toys does from time to time XD]

very nice. are you using acrylics or enamels for the head sculpt paint apps?
Thanks! I'm more of a Pastel/Acrylic person. I'm able to cast the head in the skintone I want and then add tonal variations with the pastel. Hair and eyes are done in cheap acrylics [though I use an ink pen for lining the eye and Pupil].

Great work
do you plan make cast of them?
Shhhhh…I can't peddle in the open discussion ^_^ But that's part of the plan, yeah.

Those are killer sculpts..great work there...please feel free to share more pictures etc of these
Thank you kindly. Definitely going to share more...just glad people are interested in seeing it!

Now, I wish I had a better camera to show off this stuff.

Very, VERY nice! I loved the SGA series and miss that sorely (and SGU.....)
Nicely done too, the clothes, the headsculpts. Major WOW!!

I remember Sheppard mostly with a 1911 (para ordnance I think) after the initial Beretta like the rest.
P90's. a big G36 Nice guns on that show =D
