They may just be lurking because, right off the top of my head, I can think of at least 10 women who are members here. There are also a number of women who have founded and run boards in the 1/6 scale community, notably Charlotte Beckman at JoeWorld/The Trenches and Nicole Miler at One Sixth Action Figure Board.
However, I know how you feel because the two boards I help run have a primarily female membership. No matter how welcoming or nice other folks are, sometimes you can't help but feel a bit like the odd man, or woman, out.
