Nice figure but the coat has the wrong camo pattern to the movie one
Perhaps reading this sentence would have been a good idea?.
It's not 100% accurate but it's pretty close to what Eastwood and Burton are wearing during the end of the movie.
Considering that the camo parka's worn in the movie were custom made here in the UK in a colour scheme not even used by the Germans during WW2 it's hardly surprising that it's not going to be the correct colour, the camo pattern used was a copy of the German Marsh/Sumpftarn design but in a different colour scheme, you could always swap the splinter camo parka for a Marsh version, .....as for the cap being wrong.... Burton & Eastwood were portrayed as being Gebirgsjager so actually the bergmutze cap would be quite correct.....superb looking figure by the way hotel25, well done.

Well as Smith (Burton) says to Lt Schaffer (Eastwood); No mistake, Lieutenant. This the headquarters of the Wehrmacht Alpenkorps. And as i understand it's Gebirgsjäger and if the movie is 100 % correct it's that uniform you should have. :thumb But of what i can see your pic is quite in line of what i can see in the movie and i really wonder if any uniform is 100% correct in the movie. :think

Good bash and dio, Always someone who has to point out the smock issue! Trouble is, to the best of my knowledge there are no commercial ones out there. I was lucky enough to pick up a major midnight 1/6 film accurate smock about 8 years ago for a yet to be done bash.

Worth looking at the following authority for further references, massive help to me

Hey Dan, according to the Schiffer Wehrmacht camo book, it was a real pattern (with surviving pics) . Did it turn out to be a fake?

Thought it was also agreed on the WAF, but I was so busy looking at pics of full oakleaf camo unis and dudes with beards (both are rare as hen's teeth, or so I'm told) that I might have missed the discussion. :lol

Just curious. I love Where Eagles Dare. Lot of kitbash possibilities from the movie. The pattern from the movie and in the Schiffer book is beautiful to look at (IMO).

Edit* Just saw Jaime's link to the WAF. Cool, got some reading for this weekend!

PS - I would love to see the reversed marsh colors and the brown/orange splinter patterns sometime in 1:6th (it'll never happen though).
