I'm been trolling eBay for days and all I see are Tony Stark, Stallone, Loki and for women, Scarlett Johansen, Scarlett Johansen, and well, Scarlett Johansen.

Can anyone recommend someplace to find a good looking female head sculpt that isn't Scarlett Johansen? ;) (Or Angelina Jolie or Penelope Cruz?)

How about a Natalie Portman? Jessica Alba? Kristen Bell? Kiera Knightley? Anything! ;)

Iyiyyy, you carry a good assortment of kumik and other female heads right?

Along with Super Duck and Kumik there is Cian and Orange. The middle two tend to make decent Asian female heads, but your mileage may vary as to fit on bodies. They kind of work on HT bodies, and give or take on Kumik/etc bodies. What about those Sucker Punch girls? Emily Browning/Baby doll is still a fetching headsculpt.

Hi Saiko

Actually the female heads I carrying are all work on HT or Kumik bodies, I mean the ball joint, even baby doll does.

But I think most people concern about the matching of skin tone which make me headache, none of them can be perfectly matching even Kumik head vs Kumik body...

I don't necessarily believe there is an issue with "selection", but there is an issue with "compatibility" in terms of head sculpts matching the variety of skin tones currently available/known with regards to 1:6 female figure bodies from all known brands/manufacturers. Some may be a ideal & perfect match, but there is definitely a lack of 100% matches overall. Collectors have to make do with acceptable/close enough matches.

I can't follow this thread partly.
I am searching in web for black skin type head sculpts since long time. I cannot find anything, except Triad Toys AlphaII African female body. The head sculpt of this Triad Toys figure is less so detailed as the Kumik head sculpts. This comes in addition.

I would also like to find names like 'Fatima Siad' or 'Zoe Saldana' (not so dark skin type), etc. instead of 'Scarlett Johansen' as dreadpyrat wrote.
However perfectly matching bodies are not available, too.

I would like to articulate a wish for more and various ethnic lines in 1/6 scale here right now in this thread.

Kumik also has Chloe Moretz, Jessica Alba, Carrie-Ann Moss and Amanda Seyfried. Also a Pepper Potts. Super Duck has a Natalie Portman look-alike. Some bootleg Alice, Ada and Catwoman are in the market one time or another...

It's not like there's a dearth of female celebrity heads out there, it's just that they haven't made the ones you want. But I agree, they aren't as abundant as males (which is understandable too), and we like to see more.

I have that problem too at times, trying to match tones of head and body..and it makes things more difficult when photos of the headsculpts are not properly taken-very misleading ! What i tend to do is to buy the headsculpt that i like first and from there look for the matching body tone.less than ideal but thats the best i can do to address that problem.

here are the ones I have that I can think of off the top of my head, and who made them. An ebay search of the ladies name in 1:6 should yield results. I have others, but these stuck in my mind...

Angelina - Flirty Girl - got her on a Triad alpha. Got a VB toys Angelina too, she's on an Otaku/alpha hybrid body

Natalie Portmann - Headplay. Fits nicely on a small bust alpha, and seems to resemble the actress from her Black Swan days well.

Keira Knightley - Hot Toys (not cheap, but looks amazing with a real wig). Fits nicely on the Hot Toys Amber body

Penelope Cruz - Hot Toys

Mila Jovovich - Hot Toys

Anne Hathaway - Hot Toys

Jessica Alba - Kumik (Kumik body)

Jennifer Lawrence (sort of) - Triad with Triad body

Monica Belucci - Kumik

Carey Mulligan - Kumik

Fitted these last two with Triad alpha bodies, colour match is ok but the head needs a bit of carving

Gillian Anderson/Halle Berry - Sideshow, nice with a bit of added paint. Fit well on Alpha bodies too

This is an interesting thread with only a few that have answered the OP's question directly.

Andy b has the most comprehensive list. Here is mine choice of compainy to search eBay or the local shops for:

Hot Toys

Traid Toys

Flirty Girl

PHicen

Kumik

Very Cool

BBI/Takara

A few points to note:

There are very few companies producing standalone heads. Fewer producing female heads.

Most 1/6 companies are producing figures, not head sculpts. Most figures are either movie or military related.

If there is a movie tie in like IM, POTC, RE etc, then you might get a Hot Toys female head which may or may not be reproduced later.

One has to remember that female figures, until recently, where frond upon by most 1/6 community's. Men with dolls was the place to go if you were a female figure collector. Today it seems more and more collectors have or are willing to have a few female figures in their collection. Maybe with this new interest, more companies will produce better headsculpts and figures...seems to be this way with bodies...

The cy girl line is a good place to look for heads, with the right paint job they can look incredible, here is one example:

You could always use the F4 Jassica Alba. It is a nice version. I wish that there was some Jessica Biel sculpts. Waiting for an HT one to pop up takes too long and is almost always too expensive.
And how about some classic female stars? Lynda Carter, Nichelle Nichols, Jane Seymour, Yvonne Craig....

Do a search on ebay for seller Snyderman31. If you are looking for accurate female likenesses you wont find much better. Be warned, the price is going to be more than most on this board seem willing to pay, but the work is worth the price. His Beckinsale/Selene, Fisher/Leia and Weaver/Ripley destroy all other versions of those portraits including the ones done by Sideshow (Leia) and Hot Toys (Ripley). He will modify the neck to fit whatever body you plan to use and will match the paint at no extra charge. You might have to send him a body if he doesn't have one on hand to paint match. If you are looking for aftermarket, parted out heads you aren't going to find much more than has already been listed. That has been my experience anyway.

Hi guys, i'm an avid Kumik headsculpt collector, i'd like to buy some asian heads from them which resemble celebrities, but i don't know almost any of them. Can someone help me?
--

To the best of my knowledge, there is no formal, informal, official, or unofficial head sculpt listing/guide of 1:6 Asian celebrity head sculpts by KUMIK; however, have you tried contact KUMIK directly or even ask sellers of KUMIK Asian celebrity head sculpts who they are . . . provided it is based on an Asian celebrity?

You can start with eBay. Different sellers (mostly in China/Hong Kong) sell 1:6 heads from KUMIK.

Good luck.

Get in touch with iyiyyy, he's a really great ebay seller and a member here. He helped me buy a headsculpt from Kumik directly and he seems to have a really good relationship with them. If anyone might know who a certain Asian celebrity headsculpt is supposed to be, he might.

ebay: Male Clothes Accessories, Male Head Sculpts items in iyiyyy store on eBay!
