Nice find. I remember the handicapped Barbie set had a pretty decent chair as well. Would be a great addition to the deBarbified thread.
I passed on a Becky, at a local thrift store, that appeared new in package for $15. Kind of wish I grabbed it because the chair really is decent and worth debarbify-ing. I guess I felt guilty about what to do with the Becky doll afterward, though I am fairly sure she is a "normal" Barbie body and able to stand.--
SO . . .
Becky is a collector's item now?
I always look at humor for what it is. I have more difficulty with people who have never been diagnosed claiming to have bi-polar to justify being a jerk. It gives people with the condition a bad rap. There is a LOT more to being diagnosed than having mood swings.--
You mean Becky CAN STAND? Praise the Lord! Our prayers have been answered! She can stand! It's a miracle! Can I get an AMEN?

Thank you for understanding the context and intent of my post (i.e. absurdist humor, etc.) and not take personal offense to it.
I was confined to crutches and wheelchairs in my childhood in my early teen years due to an accident from childhood. If someone else posted what I did, I too could have easily taken offense, but comprehending the humor context and intent I wouldn't.
I'm Asian, so I could take the path of least resistance and be offended by humorous 1:6 stereotypical posts about culture and ethnicity. However, I don't.
Excuse me. I need to go open up some new Asian female seamless figures. I'll open up some more after half an hour. I'm working on a 1:6 Asian buffet diorama.
