SOTW World Conflict series: Delta Force - Operation Enduring freedom I think, those figures looked real similar.

Here is a picture of my very first 1:6 figure, if I still had that figure... I was 5 in 1973, my grandfather gave me my first GI. Joe. My hippie mom took away his guns :sadpace

But these Battle Barbies are what got me into 1:6 as a hobby.

It was the original GI Joe back in the '60s, then got reintroduced to 1/6 when I got these guys.

Sideshow's Dr. No James Bond, and of course Dr. No. Then Indy, custom. ***** Galore, Ash and Evil Ash, Superman of "Superman Returns" from DC Direct and now Bruce Lee.
After Action Men in childhood, my first that any of you would know was the SS Frankenstein monster, then I think it was their Buffy and Gentlemen. After them came BBI's Keith Gordon followed by CH's Hasso Von Manteuffel. Then it was the SS Dr No Bond, BBI Joanna Dark, AJ McLeod, Blaze and Ice. I've probably posted everything I ever bought since then.

CHEERS!
Gi Joe Action Marine circa 1965-- my first figure in adulthood was the GI Joe HOF Duke.

I bought eighteen of them at a Toys R Us after they had been marked down to $6.97-- sold most of them at a NICE profit and still have couple of them stashed away! :)
All you guys really go way back huh.

Well my first was....... in 25/12/2001

my first was the old 21st century MACVSOG figure back in 99. great figure, then and now
Ignoring the HOF GIJoes (I've seen rocks with more articulation) it would be the Classic collection SAS in 1996. When I first bought it I thought it was a HOF body. Then I got home and saw he had the 21 points of articulation like the original I was ecstatic.
I think that HT guy that KMok15 showed us was among the first HT figures I remember seeing. Not in person but in a magazine in 2002, he was £99.99 then so god knows what he'd go for now.

CHEERS!
