What WWI figures have been made?
I know about the following:

Caltek Battle of Liege German
DiD Lutz Fedder German
DiD Buck Jones American
DiD Albert Brown British
DiD Pascal Dubois French

Have there been any other WWI figures made?

Thanks,
Alan

Also, check out the Bayonets and Barbed Wire series from Sideshow. It was developed in collaboration with Peter Jackson about 10 years ago.

They have a different look to them as they predated hyper-realistic figures, but are still some of my favorite 1/6 releases.

Here's one of the German Infantrymen:

The Light Horseman:

Pershing:

Some of them are REALLY hard to find boxed anymore, but many figures pop up on the secondary market regularly.

Enjoy!

From the top of my head ,I'd like to add:

Sideshow 'Bayonets & Barbed Wire Series'-
US Ace Pilot Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker
USMC 5th Marines Infantryman
German Trench Raider w/ Body Armor
British Lewis Gunner 1st Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers, 29th Division

Hasbro GI JOE-
US Infantryman 'Doughboy' w/ Gas Mask
US Fighter Pilot 94th Aero Squadron w/ German plane wing part

German Infantry Senior Corporal

Cotswold Elite Brigade-
German Stormtrooper w/ metal plates

These figures may not stand in comparison with latest DID sets in terms of quality, but they're actually decent, not bad when there's not much around back in late 90's.
These sets came out during the hights of BBI/ Dragon/ 21st WW2 figures , around the time when many were whining about the lack of WWI release. When those WWI figures finally came out, the same whiners turned into rivet counters, bitched about accuracy and then flaked out.:wail:dunno

Cool, I like the Bayonets and barbwire figures, a little mix and matching with some loose DiD items and your good to go i reckon.

Cheers,

Stu

You left out Sideshow's two versions of the THE RED BARON! Also, there
is a Manfred Von Richthofen by 'In The Past Toys' made as well.

I actually have the first version of the Red Baron, 'til I used up all the parts for something else.
I was hoping Sideshow could've made a French aviator as well, or have they ever?

I actually petitioned to Sideshow to make a French Aviator at the time
when the movie "Flyboys" came out 7 years ago, but it fell in a 'black hole'
so that was that.

Way to few of WWI figures have been made and the only one with accuracy and quality is the Imperial German Infantryman(Battle of Liege)
figure made by Timewalker and CalTek. It's appalling there are no other WWI figures getting released especially with the recent centenary of WWI!

I have still hope Timewalker will release a German infantry Soldier(Sturmtruppen for that matter) 1917/18 with a M18 Stahlhelm
and Grabendolch. A figure with a Maschinengewehr 08 would also be awesome.

My other 1/6 dream is a 1914/18 Kaiser Wilhelm II figure and Gefreiter Adolf Hitler.

Wow, thanks for all the responses. I don't really have any WWI figures in my collection and I wanted to know what's out there. I did order the Battle of Liege figure from Steve at Timewalker and it's on the way but I'd like to have a few more.

Hallo!

It may, or may not, be e4ncessary to add... but...

With the (after market) WWI "schtuff" from Battle Gear Toys... one can expand that list. And using WWII Tresse or rank braid, add corporals and sergeants.

Or by scrounging some of the WWI weapons found in DML WWII kits such as the MG 08/15 or the Karabiner 98a one can get into machine gun troops or storm trooper/ assault troops.
