I am new here but not completely new. A member many years back. Getting back into the hobby.

Needing any help/instructions on making straw boots that would have been used on the Russian front. I made a pair several years ago using jack boots as a base and candle wick. Can't really remember much detail on doing it. Any help would be appreciated.
