Weekend of Heroes Questions-Any one from Canada Going?
Like the topic states, anyone from Canada going and if so,anyone from Alberta going. If yes, when are you leaving, flying to and staying while your there.
Is there anything special I need to bring. I would like to hear from those who have been there before as to any tips or suggestions they can offer to help make this an enjoyable trip as this will be my first 1/6 scale show/convention I will be able to attend.

Bring a list of stuff you are looking for and as much money as you can afford to spend.
Andrew....pack very light. I only bring a carry-on ....with enough room left to bring back everything I buy at WOH. Not only buy, but the EBT HOOTERS PARTY has PLENTY to give to you too!!!!
Sound advice so far from a couple of convention vets. Those things would be on my advice list, as well.
I might add that a sensibly sized backpack/bookbag type affair, starting off empty and easily filled, would help make your show more comfortable.
A small pocketsized notebook and pen/pencil for notes and contacts is another idea.
A camera.
Sunglasses and a good hat.

Hollowpoint, Cdn Rhino, and I are all going. And yes, we're all Alberta boys. Hollowpoint and I are actually flying down together. Cdn Rhino is going down kinda solo via an indirect route. PM HP and I and we'll be glad to give you the skinny on getting down there. Both Sawgunner and LG gave very good advice on what to bring.

Oh yes, another Canadian. Yes Rob and myself are flying down together. I fly into Calgary on Thursday night and we fly out very early Friday morning for California. We are also renting a vehicle.
Oh yeah.....don't forget to WEAR your OSW GEAR for the OSW FAMILY PICTURE to be taken sometime Saturday by the OSW BOOTH.
Could you get "OSW" into that sentence a few more times please.
....and of course comfortable shoes as you'll be on your feet walking throughout the day/weekend.
