Mod Podge is essentially a combination of PVA glue and matte sealer - you see it used by a lot of crafters on Pinterest. XD PVA would have probably done the job fine tbh but I had some MP handy.

Action Man, if you have craft and/or hobby stores you should be able to find Mod Podge there.
