I got this from Toys Gear on eBay which took an amazing 3 days to arrive from HongKong to England.

Boots are upgraded with DML style chunky 'panama' soles, boots also have the worn in look.
Body is incredibly floppy and head falls off with a finger tip push
Body screw holes are filled with molded plastic so you can't adjust anymore
BDU is still shines like an Elvis jump suit
D-Rings on equipment are stupidly fragile
Camo head is incredibly rubbery like a cheap $1 doll but the unpainted is usual TS quality.

As far as equipment , you only get 1 belt, 4x M16,4x M14 pouches not in fact 2 full belt kits as shown.

You know that is a nice looking figure. I will say that the out door pictures you have taken are really nice and enhance the overall presentation of the figure. So, how is the quality of the equipment and weapons that come with the figure?
beautiful! totally love the M14-ERDL combination. can't wait to get mine.

went for M14 as the M16 family swamps my collection :rolling

forgot to add, M14 is hand painted wood grain
this looks a bit overrated so far...i still have mine on preordre though, prolly still worth the 90 bucks, but that uni does look awful crappy.
Great figure. I just don't like the nylon uniform.
Disapointing about the uniform. I was looking forward to them the most.

A quick question for you do you get the usmc medic pouch (Attatched to the butt pack) with this set?

Can't wait for mine to turn up!

Thanks

everything in the picture is included inc. 1st aid pouch. I don't think the teaser photo shows this ?

** I have found a bit of a annoying fault with the new body. The arms just push in at the shoulder joints, so move arms too much and they pop out  they are only held in place by friction
Mine done this and i thought he had broken.
Thanks bravo 2 zero

your right i didnt see them in the teaser pics been after one since TS's Sealpointman come out all those moons ago.

Cheers mate

1/1 reference

Got these pics from the USmilitaria board- those collectors have named this ERDL pattern Vivid green and Medium green and seems that they are separated by time-Vivid green first produced in 1968, and Medium green in 1969
Looking at the pics I would not say this figure's uniform is wrong in any way- Alan from TS makes his gear from 1/1 originals and it appears he used Vivid green from 1968 as his master-Here's a link http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21009&hl=ERDL

:green they are my ERDL pants :nanana
Thanks for posting them on that board
Great pictures B2Z. It looks like a nice and impressive figure at any rate.

Sad to hear about those quality issues though. I dislike fragile bits, and that arm popping out is pretty scary.
Also, I've seen those little plastic plugs for the screw holes on other figures, except they're only there to be place holders to hide the holes rather than plug them.
Is there is a chance you could pop them out so you can adjust the screws hidden inside?

How do you find the Corpsman's Medic bag?

The plugs look pretty permanent unless you resort to drilling the out :sadshake

The medic bag is superior quality :clap

Like others have said, the downside of the figure are overlooked once it's fitted together. It's a cracking figure from the ground up, the BDU which i thought maybe a bit naff is surprisingly great when he's all kitted up.

Ohhh medic bag... Just what I needed to do a final upgrade on my VBSS figures. Bring them loose - off to hunt them down on Ebay!

Alexei
he looks good< though quality is a bit of a problem with the body but the rest of the gear looks good with a bit of wethering they would look even better.
I just wish this figure was not ERDL cammo and instead was regular OD and/or tiger stripe....
