Very first time with brush and paint. Thank goodness for youtube tutorials. Very enjoyable experience and I like the outcome. I used enamel instead of acrylic which gave a glossy finish. Will try acrylic on the next one for a more matted look and see which I like more. Feel free to share thoughts and advice.

Nice work!! I prefer acrylic myself due to the shorter dry time and ease of clean up. You can go back and gloss the acrylic later too if needed.

Great work! You can hit it with a light coat of clear flat spray paint to dull it back a bit.
I like Mr. Super Clear, but here's a video review of some more easily available clear coats.

Many thanks friendos! Tried out the acrylic on a 416 and its pretty rad. Gotta diversify with the brushes though.
