Well, I just got mine. Now, I have to say that I don't post reviews very often. My opinion (which is what a review is I guess) yes, but not a review. I just have to say, these new toyrriffic boots are something.I don't know if they are used in the military much, so not sure what kind of bash I can use them on. PMC for sure.

But the stitch work and glue application is very good. Not perfect, but damned near close. I have tried them on ACE, HT and a bbi 3.5. They fit best on the ACE body as it has thin ankles and shins. HT is a good fit. The bbi is good but the boot reaches the fat part of the calf. So it makes the boot fit a little odd. But pants cover that.

The Black one looks good for maybe a SWAT or HRT bash.

I honestly like these boots a lot. I'm using two pairs for some custom work and one pair for one of my own figures.

I got in a bunch as well. They're sweet. Coupled with their black BDUs they make a very nice combination. Got some of the tan ones as well, very nice!

Well, Sawgunner, the reason you don't have them yet is because I was waiting for an item that I was going to send you as a suprise, but keep it up and you won't get anything at all! Geesh. LOL.

John, about Toyriffic's black BDU. Is it black as dark black? And is the fabric used a bit stiff?

I have ACE and HT black BDU's and I can say that ACE's version is somewhat light black while HT's version is very dark black. ACE uses thin fabric while HT uses something that's a bit stiffer which I like very much.

I also have bbi's black BDU (and the abomination called Very Hot's version) and I'm looking forward to add Toyriffic's version to my collection but I want to make sure first that it's as good as HT's version.

I took the plunge and bought two tan and one black boots. Having a large collection of WWII I've avoided modern figures but that has undergone a change with all these fanastic modern figures now on the market. Having an active duty Navy Seal living next door has helped also. Now if we could get a serious commitment to Viet Nam!
