Okay guys, I stop over to Toy R Us in search of somekind of Sci Fi looking figure that has some awesome Sci Fi Weaponery to be converted.

Until I walked into a area where they keep the figureings and found a new bunch of BBI Mass Production figures. CIA, Marine MEU, And SWAT.

Now I well explain that they are not bad for 9.95.

The CIA uses Marshell Head. <Thumbs up> Cargo Pants, and a Grey Hoody. Now the M4 and Chest Rig are real crap. But the M4 can be Parted out with the Right cutting tools. As for the Rig. The best bet for the Rig is make a new pouch as it uses the Plastic looking molded pouch. The Boots are the old style Desert Combat Altamas. Just Paint and they look as they are Good BBI Boots or if you really want to. The bottoms are great for you Making your own boots need. Also the Black Baseball cap with CIA is well.... I wouldn't use it personally, but I think some of you guys could fine a use for the Cap.

The Marine uses the Afican American body. Can think of what head it is. But it not bad. The parts consest of 3 color Desert pants, Black Hooded, Body Armor and a M4. Once again some of the parts are great for a bash. As for the M4, It could be parted out. Oh yes, The Boots are Trident Hiking Boots. So that a plus.
Now the Helmet has no straps but it is really small for it scale.

The SWAT Figure isn't to bad. The SWAT style armor PAC is real crap. The Mag pouch are molded plastic. But the MP-5 is from the metal set. Major plus for detail. The M9 is nothing more but a Diecase. It ehh. The Blue uniform could be fixed up and made into a great looking SWAT uniform. Blue Cotton from any local WALMART or Fabric Store. The Helmet has no straps Black and really small for it scale.

Presonally, I would spend the 9.95 to have PARTS! MUWAHAHA! Yeh.. There great for your KitBashing needs if you need a body. I belive there V2 body types. I'll pick up one to give you bashers a better report.

Thanks for Reading

I found these guys over the weekend too and picked up the two military figures. For $10, they aren't bad. The figures and the basic clothing are a good foundation for some kitbashes. Like Broadshore said, the CIA guys uses the Marshall sculpt and the Marine uses the AA bodybuilder sculpt (bald Samuel Jackson). The grenages and stuff blister packed in the box is basically crap, but the basic figure, clothes and gear is worth the $10. Attached are two photos of the figures straight out of the box without any of the crap added on. The Marine has Trident's shoes so they also mage it worth buying. They attempted "weathering" but basically just took a swipe across them with an airbrush full of tan paint.

US $ 10.00 = PhP 560.00 for me. PHP 560 is P40 short of a nude loose DML figure here for me. So for the so-so fig and weapon alone, I guess it's more than worth it. The vests look awful, IMHO. I think they could use a bit of work. But the clothes and gear overall look good.

Sadly, we don't have Toys R'Us here, and the last time I asked how much it'd be to pick one of these guys up--I decided not to (total cost would have been like buying the regular DML/BBI figs here).

Broadshore, what're your bash plans for these guys? Because I really don't see any hope for these guys if kept as-is. They're definitely bash fodder.

I am thinking on doing another Civilan CIA figure to go with my OWL CIA figure. The Civie clothing would work great! But I think the head on Marshall well need repainting.. As for the other figure <Note: Marine>. I'll spend the 10 bucks and sell the body to someone for 5.00 bones.

I notice some parts may need some modication. Just looking at the Rigs, I think they can be remod and reused for the bash. I mean. There going to be some ball busting to make it work. But it worth a try. A lost of 10.00 isn't much a real lost. But it worth it.

<Scratches chin> I'll pick up a couple tomorrow. See what can be done.. I think your right Snake. The marine with the tan vest looks like it can be rather useful. hmmm..

I'll plan up something when I get the figures tomorrow.

have any of you guys seen once upon a time in mexico?????

johnny depp strolls around at a bullfight with a CIA shirt on, and, shockingly enough, he's a CIA agent

just a funny bit of irony in the movie

Okay.. Broadshore Report continues..

Well...... Here the sad thing.. The body type are old version V1 BBI's. With the V2 to v3 Head types.

The clothing is not bad really. The Hoodies can work for a kitbash with some Modfications <They need the front hoodie pockets> More like a simple fix. The M9 Barreta is GREAT! The detail is like Dragon. Very happy. But the mag don't come out. hmm.... Useable!!!!

Now for the CIA agent. Marshall head need repainting. Not to bad of repair. Well work great if you got the V2 or V3 Neck stem. <Please let me know if anyone carries them stems.> The M4. eeehh.. It crapola.. Short and simple. It molded in Rubber. <Rolls eyes> The Gloves are useable. Just remove this crappy looking stud to hook up the hand too with the Stud from your old gloves. BOOM! You got a pair of Black swat gloves. <Thumbs up> As for the Nades and knife. Real plastic crap. Just give them to some kid. They mite like them. The Boots are Altama Desert Boots. Nothing to say about them. There just old Version as mention uptop. The Chest rig uses a Foam insert. And Loop Velcor for the pouch. Very useable. Just make yoursleves a Black cotton Pouchs and black Velcro to finish. BOOM! Got yourself a 3 pouch Armor check rig. Oh yes! The Paint. The Cargo pants. oooohhhh yes.... Finally Cargo pants for the figures... hehehe. OKAY! back on subject here. You can alot of work to them. Hell you can cut them down for a pattern if you guys want. Thumbs up! Got Mini buttons and some tan Cotten to make belt loops and extra stuff. It worth the 9.95.

As for the Marine. V1 Body <rolls eyes> Chest rig is a Desert Sand. VERY USEABLE for being like a South Afican soldier build. <Thumbs up for you L2A2 FN lovers> Black Hoodie. Need Pockets. Simple fix. The Black gloves are a plus. same as CIA agent. Just pull the Rubber thing from the glove and replace it with a V2 or V3 stud. BOOM! Got yourself more gloves. Tridents boots needs some painting detail. But hey, There not to bad. Oh yeh...... The M249..... <sighs> sorry guys, this gun can't be rescued... You can try to do somekind of work to it... But.. don't try superglue.. it won't hold.. :-( The Smoke nade decals can be removed. HEY! I know you guys have some TUS Smoke nades laying around. BOOM! Better looking nade. As for the Frags. Not worth the work. The Gasmask pouch... It rubbery.. Doesn't look like any US Gasmask pouch... Got a Sci Fi figure your working on... there you go... The 3 Color Desert Pants look more Denmark 3 color then US. So if you guys want the Denmark 3 color. It well work for your needs. I'm not really happy with this figure. But the head is a plus. OH yes! I forgot the helmet. The Helmet is BBI Plastic Helm. some work can be done with it.. or used as a extra part to fix a broken one.

Don't know about the SWAT member. Really want to pick him up. The MP 5 and the M9 aren't that bad detailed. Matter a Fact. There molden in Plastic. Not RUBBER! Thank god for good things.

Well.... There my bad grammer report of the Toy R Us figures. Hope it helps. OH YES! Another add. I hear there under bankruptacy. Or so I hear. It worth a check and hell... 9.95 for parts are not bad.

Thank you

Broadshore, is the M249 of the TRU USMC also molded in rubber? And which M249 is it modeled after? If it's rubber/flexible plastic and painted (quite a few fake 1/6 gear I've seen from China are like that), you could try using staples or the like to hold any add-onswhile yu glue them using Styrene Cement (Plastic Model Cement). Though you mght also want to sand off the pain on the area you plan to cement.

I don't see much wrong with the BBI V1 bodies as long as they have about the same posability of the V1s. It's too bad I won't be seeing those things here (or if I do, they'll be insanely overpriced). I'm thinking of a few ideas with that USMC Marine (A partner for Trident, maybe?), and I can't find the BBI African-American bodybuilder here anyway.

Here a kool thing. The belts are BBI Standard belts. just a little bit of ACE hardware and some small eyelets. You got a great looking belt.

Well have pictures of the newly upgrade stuff.

But I lost the webpage of the person who was saleing the Eye lets and doll buttons. anyone has them?
