A grand idea that I'd luvv to see this coming year, wow!
Are you tied to the color black for the group? Could you do a Red-coloured Grendel warrior? The future world of Grendel Prime has Grendel groups throughout the globe, so perhaps various cultural flavors of Grendels could also work.
