Whom were you rooting for? Whom would you like to win the Lombardi Trophy next year?
Me: Giants; Chargers

Wow... That half-time show made me a sad panda.
Yeah, hopefully Gisele "pulls away" from him tonight. Shady Brady will hopefully learn some humility. Same thing for his classless coach. Cheaters DON'T win.
wow, this was one of the best games in history , close, down to the wire !!

!!! GO GIANTS !!!!
classless
that's what i thought of them when they would run up the score leading the game with 35 points ahead during the regular season, and would still go for it in 4th down in the 4th quarter...no class

i haven't seen a team do that to the other team but the Patriots...many say its because they want to make a statement...they won't be speaking much after blowing a perfect season away from the last seeded team in the playoffs

how sweet is that, getting owned by both Manning brothers...serves them well, maybe next time they'll have more class :rolling
The name Manning has left a nasty taste in New England's mouth for the past two years; haa, haa; poor Bill. Who knows, maybe Achie should give it a try next year too and make it a family affair. :fit

:lol Archie!!! Heck, Mrs. Manning might as well join in the fun!!
Champions Of The Mother****in World!!!

NEW YORK IS UNSTOPPABLE BABY!!! UN****INSTOPPABLE!!! :cheers
Historic!

What a game! Well played by both teams. This will go down as one of the greats. It had drama, personalities, record book hype and the Giants! I'm still on a high. Stayed up till 2:00 AM watching replays.

There are also some posts in the Go Packers thread. A lot of crow eating going on over there.
I don't like either team so it was just another game to me.......c'mon August
That game blowed. Super Boring is more like it. Only thing that kept me tuned in was the commercials.
I missed the whole first half..but it looked boring anyway

I cant stand the pats they are just sore losers and in some way cheaters..but ohh well Im glad they lost..but its still bittersweet since Im a die hard Cowboy fan and the Giants are one of our rivals but Im a giants fan now but I still hate the Redskins and always will

Cowboys in 2008 FTW!!!!
Was rooting for the Giants...

Hoping my Cowboys will get back to the superbowl. Maybe Romo will concentrate more on football this year than trying too hard to use all of his 15 minutes of fame too quickly...
Patriots are just as classless ever. If your coach tries to leave the game before it's officially over, what can you say about the team? LT was right: The Patriots are classless, and this stems from their coach.

Actually, given that he is one of the top 3 quarterbacks of all-time (some would debate he's at the top of that short list) I think Brady is very humble in most of his interviews. Especially when you hear jerk-haufs like Phil Simms and Boomer cramming their has-been crap down people's throats all of the time.

However as far as the coach goes, I have to agree. I always liked Belichick until I saw how he handled losing. Let's face it, the Pats defense didn't want to be out there for that last play any more than anyone else did, and for them to have to do it without their coach on the sidelines was just sad.

Brady's the man, and will easily surpass both Mannings in the annals of history, but Belichick's a dirtbag.

I don't know of any expert that would agree that he's in the top three. Top ten, yes. Top three or five, not yet. He still has to compete with the likes of Joe Montana, Dan Marino, etc. He is definitely very clutch but becomes more mediocre when his o-line can't defend him. He was hit with five sacks and one interception during the Super Bowl. His o-line helps make him great.

Actually all I've heard from the experts is that it's down to him and Montana---and even Bradshaw said he's the greatest to ever play the game.

I understand that most of America hates him---but hell, now you know how I felt when Emmitt Smith broke the rushing record. ;)

I agree that Brady is a phenomenal QB, but he loses A LOT of that greatness when he's not defended properly. I just get a lot of my "expert opinions" from Yahoo sports, so there's probably other opinions out there. Right now, because Brady didn't win that Super Bowl, many people still consider Montana the best there ever was. But it's all up for debate. Oh well, at least he has a model girlfriend and an illegitimate child to turn to for emotional comfort.
