never had this before:

one of my SA Joes is coming apart at the waist, between the upper torso and the bottom half. there is a small ball joint that is suppose to snap into the lower part, but it is not holding. Any suggestions?

by the way, this is my Snake Eyes bash, so I want to keep intact

Well, I don't know if is the problem, but can you tell if a rubber band was holding the lower and upper half together? Cause that was what happened to my 3 3/4 gi joes, now I understand they aren't built the same, but that's just a suggestion. Well hope you find your answer.

I've had two of those SA Joe completely fall apart!!! I had to try and fix all the breaks with epoxy putty.

Buy a lot of 20 loose Joes on ebay and mix and match heads, bodies, etc. You will eventually have a pile of mscl. loose body parts. Sell those on Ebay for the other guy who needs your leftover parts. Repeat as needed. ;-)

Pete,
I have about 30 SA Joes & can tell you from my experience.. they are just not made well. oh, i LOVE the articulation, the knees, the elbows, the fingers.. but the arms will crack & break off at the elbow joint.. that is VERY annoying.
i have only had one that broke at the waist joint.. that one is buried in the back yard in Nebraska ( yes. i'm kidding)

I've recently transitioned to the BBI G3.5, its taller & the arms can come in for better poses.. you should give this a shot..

most of my SA Joes sit nude & await an unknown fate. :wink
