Damn, that's a really good Patrick Stewart sculpt.

I might have to delve into this line. Sure wish they'd do the main cast from Voyager.

Funny. Folks here seem to like it, as do I; most over at the Freaks are pitching a fit and calling it garbage. Dario, I wasn't much of a fan in the beginning... took a few seasons to start to appreciate it, but it wasn't the uniforms, it was just boring. I missed Kirk beating the crap out of people, or bedding down some alien hottie; too much talking heads those first few seasons. And thank god they got rid of that annoying kid.

Looks good to me but I am not anywhere near as interested as I am in the QmX ST-TOS and in a selfish personal way I wish they weren't diverting any time or resources from completing the original ST-TOS crew. I wonder if QMX's marketing plan supposes that there's a single "Star Trek" Fan Base that they are feeding, or if they are taking into account that many people buying ST-TOS won't buy ST-TNG and probably vice versa. People may say we're being paranoid about the fear that we won't complete a basic ST-TOS crew but look at QMX Firefly, it seems to have stalled just after one figure.

It's not that I didn't like it - I'd watch it now and again if it was on - but the Uniforms... Gold command uniforms were iconic - why change to red in TNG? And where did the blue uniforms go? The gold, blue and red uniforms of TOS are so iconic and go together so well... TNG was too red for my liking - lacking the blue contrast made the show look dull.
Personally i'd rather get the whole original crew first and maybe a few extras - random security cannon-fodder, Kirk in green officer shirt etc.

The zipper front bothers me. I never noticed it in any of the episodes but it stood out as soon as I saw the figure pics.
Other than that, another great QMx offering.
As for SSF, not surprised they nitpicked it.

I grew up watching the original series as a kid and saw the NG in my teens and as an early adult.

I'll be the first to post/say I am not a "die hard" Trekkie, but I enjoy and respect it enough.

I don't own any of the 1:6 QMx figures of Bones, Kirk, and Spock (yet), but given my collecting niche I'm looking forward to 1:6 female characters from Trek.

I envision we'll likely see three to four versions of Counselor Troi given her wardrobe changes over the course of the early/initial seasons until she wore the standard blue uniform as Dr. Crusher.

As for Dr. Crusher, it'll be the blue uniform and sweater she is recognized for.

IMHO, Crusher and Troi are likely to be given the 1:6 treatment from NG from QMx. Yar, Guinan, and Ensign Ro could follow, but the likelihood and possibility is low.

As for TOS, Uhura is probably high. Yeoman Rand and Nurse Chapel may be low. I see the potential for memorable female characters more so in TOS compared to NG (i.e. Orion slave women, etc.).

I hope the line is doing well thus far. It's not like we're privy to information on the financial success of the line thus far.

While the following is very unlikely, maybe QMx may consider offering ST uniform sets (male and female) along with accessories (i.e. phasers, tricorders, etc.). I know some ST: TOS inspired uniform sets were previously offered in the past in a very limited run and promptly got scarfed up and rightfully so. I don't knoa if such an offering is possible now given the attention for the 1:6 line along with licensing/marketing and IP protection (thus far).

Oh man, it would be awesome if they offered uniform sets so we could crew build. Red Shirts, blue and red skirts for some female members.

I would end up creating an entire 1:6 female crew.

The boldy go where no man has gone before . . . the USS ******.

;) :p
