I really like this. We all know there's way too many SEALs out there, but the headsculpt alone is a great selling point, plus all the cool gear and weapons in AOR1 camo.
Definite buy for me.
Now they need to make Dusty!

Wow, SS really did great on this figure! Loving the realism of the HS and all the weapons for sure. Hope they do more from the MOH game, esp the NATO troops.

A good looking figure. About 6 years late in terms of syncing up with the game and Preacher that Caltek did a long time ago, but still worth the wait. The head is cool minus that ponytail or whatever people want to call it, the chin pony is cool. The body either looks new in terms of being bulkier or just a new padded suit underneath. The arms also hinder how much posing can be done.

As PitViper stated I hope we get Dusty at some point. Either from the first game or the second. The second would be cool for another Wounded Warrior figure.

Overall not bad and may be the first SS boxed figure I buy since the Raider figure.

It's like they checked all the boxes on the "bestseller" list:
- Great beard
- GPNVGs
- AOR1 everything
- SCAR H
- SCAR H in AOR1
- SCAR H in AOR1 with 40mm launcher
- 'Hawk
- Breaching kit (prerequisite for SEAL releases these days apparently).
- Muscle body
- Just being a SEAL
This figure looks like it will justify whatever huge pricetag they slap on it. I don't like the leg subload, and his kit might be a bit "busy", but that just lends itself to more customizing. Lots of attitude and lots of great pieces of kit, with the potential to cover lots of DEVGRU and vanilla SEAL topics. Additionally, the little bits of extra kit like water bottle, winkler knife, pens, taped chemlights, suppressor details and other little details bring a nice level of realism to this video game character. Lots of potential for a highly detailed SEAL, but also a [email protected]$$ looking "fictional" type operator too - just like the very best releases, lots of character but lots of great detail pieces. Soldier Story is very much alive and kicking.

Awesome. Holy crap the old Soldier Story is back.

All that great gear, the little fine bits of detail, pens, paper, watch, gps, knife, hatchet, ect all add that extra level of realism that set this figure apart from the rest, it's gonna be hard to top this guy. Thank you Soldier Story for listening.


I can't wait to see more of the Medal of Honor toy line. I'd like to see a Delta Force figure and hopefully that long awaited JTF2 figure that everyone has been talking about.

It still baffles me as to why they picked this license. I understand that they're trying to branch out into more licensed territories so they can be making the Hot Toys style big bucks, but MOH has been dead since launch a half-dozen years ago. Why not just release as a regular SEAL that just happens to look like Voodoo?

That said, this is a badass figure and Voodoo has always been a cool character. I'm definitely getting one.

I think your take is spot on. It's familiar, perhaps a bit too much for some, but everything is done really well here and shows what a more fully fleshed out figure should look like. 6094, 372, and uniform availability are a big plus for me. Lots of bits of gear that are good for squad building, rather than some of the more...interesting choices we have seen for Seals. Now they just need to execute on it.

There is probably more to that story than what will be commented on publicly. They have however been sitting on it since 2015 and with a license like this most of the research is already done. That being said the extra time has allowed for some extras like the light up NVG which were a more recent production from them.

Here's my guess.

If you played the game it had an online mode that basically put Tear 1 Operators from almost every nation against each other. So by getting this license they can pretty much make any Special Operations figure and brand it Medal Of Honor hoping to not only get money from the military crowd but also the video game crowd as well. As you mentioned the series is pretty much dead now so I can't imagine it cost them a whole lot to get it either.

On a side note between whatever the price of the license and those new glowy NVGs I can't wait to laugh at the asking price for this.
