伊拉克特种部队1:6比例军事珍藏人偶"机鎗手"

连年接受着战火洗礼的沙漠国土伊拉克正一步一步向和平努力着，就如同战争与和平这个永恒的话题一样，没有牺牲与付出，就难以换来平静的日子。
伊拉克特种部队（英文简称ISOF，Iraqi Special Operation Forces），在伊拉克反恐战争中不可缺少并且日益重要的一支中坚力量，
Soldier Story试图通过1:6比例的还原，讲述那战火纷飞的沙漠上，让恐怖分子为之畏惧的士兵故事。

与前作相比，本作呈现的同样是伊拉克特种部队黄金中队的形象，同样有着十分吸引眼球的骷髅元素如：面罩，
加上富有沙漠气息的黄色中东巾，在尘土飞扬的沙漠战场上，他们就是让恐怖分子都为之恐惧的强大存在。
不一样的是，在武器方面，本作士兵配备LR-15自动步槍，握把与手电、太阳环全新开模，跟真实士兵使用如出一辙；
M249班用机鎗金属制造，硬托带长鎗管，配备4个200发子弹的弹匣，1条30发短弹链，1条150发长弹链环腰一圈气势磅礴。

作为Soldier Story推出ISOF的后续款，本作士兵以中国制07 CP剪裁的荒漠迷彩为基调，
配上了骷髅面罩、棒球帽、软壳风衣（背部带骷髅logo印花）等更为轻盈的制服，主要突出沙漠作战灵活多变的一面。

反恐的道路任重道远，相信ISOF会继续在这片动乱的土地上发挥着巨大的作用，
同时军迷们也可以通过本作感受到这支沙漠上的"以恐制恐"的黄金中队的军事魅力。

this looks great and everything. but this kind of full load figure always reminds me of an over elaborate game of buckaroo in reverse hehe :)

I see plenty of thing I'd like to get as loose pieces. That M4 for certain once updated with a new PEQ, the Ghost mask, tactical jacket, shemag, radio w/headset, and specially that shoulder bag for the SAW ammo can is quite cool.

The nude figure is a welcome addition for Middle Eastern bad guy bashes.

Love the balaclava and the jacket, and the weapons. Why does he have shotgun shells when he doesn't have a shotgun?

I kind of like it. Ditto for the confusion about shotgun shells with no shotgun. Is that some kind of oversight on Soldier Story's part?

It does look like SS just threw there kitchen sink at this. I don't know how common that model of the SAW is for Iraqi forces or if SS is just getting rid of spares for the Panama airborne guy.

I'm not sure about the uniform either, personally. I'm not keeping up with current events but I guess it's in use.

Iraq SF huh, interesting I guess.. but I like how SS keeps previewing figures but actually not releasing anything ... I mean that German KSK still hasn’t released..

I love this. Even better than the all-black ISOF figure IMHO, and it's interesting to see figures with so much kit.
Pros:
- That camo - never had it before, and it's 100% accurate (alongside black BDUs) for ISOF.
- The weapons. The M4 looks nice, as does the M249.
- HS looks nice - kinda like Iraqi Oscar Isaac
- The insignia etc - the flags and name tapes everywhere are awesome, and accurate to ISOF.
- Good loadout
- Skull mask
- Lots of nice little goodies to round out the set
Cons
- Plastic 5.56 link. It's never looked cool, or even remotely accurate. And wrapping it around the waist never works in my experience.
- Loadout is too busy IMHO, but that's up to the buyer to alter - and more kit is always better.
- PMAGs - I've always hated those SS PMAGs

About the M249 - it's accurate, ISOF seem to have large numbers of that generation of SAW. Most LMGs in use are M249s like that or Para models.

As for the shotgun ammo - ISOF often carry multiple primary weapons, like an LMG and a carbine (like this guy). In dense urban fighting against ISIL, the main tactic of ISOF (and Middle Eastern forces in general) seems to be overwhelming firepower. Additionally, he could be carrying the 12g ammo for a buddy, or if he needs to pull a shotgun out of his HMMV for breaching or close quarters fighting. Just like the rifleman will often carry a spare box of SAW/C9 ammo to support the section gunner (or in case the gunner gets hit and the rifleman has to pick up the SAW).
Most of the pictures I have of ISOF show them with hundreds or thousands of ammo on their LBE vests and little else. Since urban fighting can often be supported by trucks or APCs, carrying extra ammo and weapons is preferable so lots of fire can be directed at the enemy (quickly) in case of contact. Six 12g shells really don't weigh that much or take up much space (if you're not humping 10km+ that is), although I agree it looks strange.

The "unusual" loadout on this guy is a result of the different tactics and culture ISOF have as opposed to, say, American SOF, who go ultra-light these days. Whereas a CAG operator will have a low-profile plate carrier and 3x mags, ISOF will more likely have full armour coverage and 10+ mags. When bashing ISOF, think American SOF 10+ years ago: older gen weapons, heavier armour.

Another great figure from Soldier Story. Only thing is I wish he came with a helmet as well but that's easily sorted through my loose parts.

Very nice and great to see something different than Seals, CAG, PMC etc. I like more the first one in black uniform but htis one is nice too. The older style Equipment and weapons are great and i like this very much. These ISOF Figures are well equipped with many parts and two weapons. Also the figure stand looks really cool. The Jacket with that cool logo is fantastic done and a nice addition. The new digital Uniform is great and very welcomend after a lot of AOR1 and multicam stuff. A helmet would be nice too but that can be changed quickly. Soldier Story is back on my wishlist :).

Tho I have the black-clad ISOF guy on order, and saw that as filling a slot, this one is pretty tempting. I echo the sentiment that Soldier Story needs to get their product fulfillment issues settled. As it is, pretty pictures do not indicate a strong comeback.
As for the shot shells, the linear scoring in the hulls is a nice detail, except it is too deep. At this scale, previous, smooth shell bodies appear more accurate.
