Does anybody know when exactly did soldier story switch from the S2 to the S2.5 which figure was it also is there anyway to adapt an S2 head to fit an S2.5 body thanks I. Advance

Around the time of the FBI HRT figures (2013). I think you would just need to find the right neck peg. I believe the only thing that changed was the part of the peg that connects to the head. It was a cone on older bodies and a ball on the newer ones. The base of the pegs (part that goes in neck) should be the same. Hopefully, someone else here can verify that last part but I should have some old bodies around to confirm.

That timeline of figure release sounds about right. The S2.5 started getting the rubber/soft plastic chest pieces about that time. I haven't tried looking at swapping heads, but I have some bodies tucked away somewhere I can look at and try out.

The original SS bodies were BBI clones, and everything between those brands and the other clones were interchangable. Some parts like the hands/gloves still are.

The round connector ball on the S2 head is quite a bit larger then on the S2.5
