Ok, I know Pontiacivan personally, he is VERY talented when it comes to making 1/6 props,figures, whatever....VERY TALENTED....He is in no way done with the hobby, but he is done with the BS on this forum...now, instead of you people posting now that you liked his stuff, maybe it should have been done when he posted it....I've posted things that no one cared about,but I don't need approval from anyone....He hasn't left the hobby, he just left the stupidity...

BS and stupidity are an inevitable fact of life -- like I said above, it's just the "background noise" to conversation. You can avoid it by practicing the hobby solo, or if you're very lucky, maybe with a group of real life friends. But you're not going to reduce the level of stupidity by going from OSW to anywhere else on the internet. No one's ever said "Wow, I'm so glad I left all of that nonsense on OSW behind now that I'm here on Sideshow Freaks." Or wherever.

I must have missed something (especially the deleted posts), but I don't get the anger and abrasiveness in your post. Pontiacivans post mentioned nothing about "BS on the forum" or "stupidity"; he sounded down about the lack of comments, and it's happened to most of us, and I understand that, but you're anger not so much. Since the Photobucket issue, I see less and less posts on here, especially by customizers, more of just new boxed offering, and more and more on the sidebar for the Facebook page (which I'm not on, so I suppose I'm missing out on things). Hopefully, as more people adjust to finding a new photo host, things will change; but I can't say the same for comments (or the lack thereof). People can choose to comment or not, it is what it is.

It's always unfortunate when people leave a forum, but it happens. There are times when I get tired of things, and I just step back for a bit. Hopefully, pontiacivan, you will, too, and we'll see you back. Good luck, brother.
