Hi guys, new member here so please bare with me :) I hope it's ok to post this topic here, I didn't see a specific "shops" or "sellers" section.

I'm looking for places in Australia that sell BBI Elite Force and similar Modern Military action figures. I've tried a few hobby shops around the place and even some of the online retailers but their selections are very poor and no one I can find sells loose parts or accessories, just the boxed figures (and at ridiculously high prices).

I'm especially after the BBI SASR figures (Sean Bannon and HALO Chris Naylor) which absolutely no body seems to have in stock - have they been discontinued or something?

I'm also hoping to make my own custom SASR Sniper figure but cant find a suitable Ghillie suit. I noticed one of the USMC Sniper figures from either BBI or Dragon had a Ghillie suit but I cant find anywhere that stocks that figure either.

Cheers guys.

I'm in Melbourne. I've tried Comics R Us, Minotaur, Hearns Hobbies, The Hobby Shop on Lonsdale St, MIB Global and even a number of Army/Aussie/Mitchell's Disposal stores. Not to mention eBay.com.au and doing a search on Google.com.au - Not having much luck.

Aussie Digger: Don't suppose you know their website or phone number mate? ;)

I've been to the one under the eaglemont station. Prices are a little on the high side but there's the more rarer gear there and a pretty good selction. Also maybe try platatac in little bourke street, they have a few select bits and pieces.

For the earlier BBI SAS figures try Albury Hobby Centre. I'm pretty Sure james and Clark had some on the Shelf last time I passed through. Their prices may be a bit high though. Another unusual place to try is the RAAC Museum Shop at Puckapunyal. Both places do mail order.
Most pklaces in Aust are winding down from 1/6th and yes the bbi sasr stuff is long out of production. DML killed the golden goose here (according to the shops I have talked to and know well) through the abandonment of other genre. Shops got sick of shelves full of German WW2 figures and the buyers dried up.
E bay is a good alternative but try a google search as they turn up in out of the way places like regional toyshops etc. The Last SASR (original) Figs I bought were for $40 ea in a Warragul toyshop specials Bin.
Good hunting
