The Weekend of Scott Carter Five, or WOSC V. This past holiday weekend was our fifth AZ group painting marathon by the legendary Scott Carter from Fadedarmour.com. Scott arrived on Friday and spent the next 2.5 days painting and weathering some of our newest vehicles. We had a Dragon Sherman 75mm kit with upgrades in Italian campaign camo, a Dodge M6 Anti-tank vehicle with a Dragon 37mm gun mounted and the Cyber Hobby version of the Naval Flakvierling 38.
Every time we have Scott come to Arizona we have at least 3 vehicles for him to work on and he never disappoints. We all hang out, watch Scott paint and help out in various ways while watching war movies and football and some good food & drinks. It's like a 3 day party where the guest of honor works, it's the most fun you can have watching paint dry.
Hopefully everyone can get to the photos (links below) and feel free to ask questions, any of our group and myself will be happy to answer as best we can. I had a hard time getting the best shots with the daylight fading on Sunday so some shots are with flash and some without flash, sorry if it seems like a little duplication.
Enjoy the pics and we love to hear your feedback. The Sherman and Dodge have a few more very minor details to be finished that still need to be done so the pics don't represent the 100% finished project but you get the idea (like adding in the fabric seats).
Links to higher resolution pics....lots of pics...before, during and after.
Shutterfly (hope I posted this link right...first time posting shutterfly)
