Hi guys, I just bought some Fimo clay the other day and I was trying out sculpting, but it is soooo much harder than I thought it'd be.

I was wondering if any of you guys had some good refrences for sculpting?
I 'm already aware of tony bartons tutorial, but Im looking for something that teaches how to actualy carve in and SCULPT.
Maybe some basic sculpting? And what exact tools will I need?
My first attempt was a Joker Head sculpt, think I might have chosen one too complicated as others would say, but to me in a sense it'd probaly be easier.

I already sketched out the joker himself.

I'd suggest PM'ing Reggie, he's the go to guy for sculpting. TK570 (Lonnie from Hero Heads) may also be able to give a few pointers.

This sounds glib, but "life". Look in the mirror. Study other peoples hair, eyes, ears. Look at everything and practice a lot. Don't fall in love w/your sculpting either. Sometimes the only way it will be finished is to move on to another piece. Maddox'x stuff is really ruff when he sends it to the finisher to make the masters. And lots of light, no clutter in your work place.
