In normal times to all intents and purposes they might as well be in the US, as I believe they cross the border weekly to ship out of a US post office. As a matter of fact though they are based in Canada, their Flat Rate shipping within the US ($7.95) is actually cheaper than for Canada ($13.95). I don't know if they can still do that now however, since the border is temporarily closed for COVID-19, but maybe they are still allowed to cross for business purposes. Apart from shipping cost, I can tell you I bought from them 2 or 3 times (though not recently) and they were very good in all respects. Living in Toronto, I would probably give them all my 1/6 business except that I have the other truly excellent Canadian dealer Toy Square > Shop Online just a short drive from home. Happy to report however that all my experiences with Urban Samurai were very positive.

Ok thanks for the information. I was hoping they weren't another "Ekia hobbies".
I think you're talking about Urban Samurai in Vancouver, BC.

The guys were quite active here on the board when OSW was getting more activity. And they were well known for excellent service both in Canada and selling outside of Canada as well. I haven't bought anything from them in a while. Mostly because I haven't been buying much. I think my last buy was about 2 years ago. That being said I never hesitated buying anything from them, either loose stock or complete figures. Customer service was always top notch.

Between Toy Square and Urban Samurai, those are probably among the top 1/6 online sellers I know of in Canada. But there are many more smaller outfits that are really great too.
I just got Caparzo from them about a month ago which was sold out every where else. Price was good and shipping was fast. I haven't used them a lot but this may be the third purchase from them over the last couple years and I've never had a problem.
Ok cool. I normally don't order out of country. I found what I was looking for in a online store in Ohio. Ill keep Samurai in the backup list along with the store in Brooklyn he usually sells his boxed figures fast.
The business used to be a great place to buy from as stated they mailed their product within the US and gave buying discounts. The business was sold and the buying (preorder) discounts went away and so did the shipping from the US. This was my experience some years ago and I do not know how they operate today. I spent loads of money with them in the day.
