ROD SERLING Twilight Zone custom figure...

Hey y'all, I thought I'd share some shots of a custom portrait I did for a fellow board member a while back. The head is just placed on a Sideshow X-Files 'Skinner' body for these shots, but it's the only suit I had so I figured it would work.

Some additional images can be seen on my site gallery--

Additionally, the fine fellow that commissioned the portrait, jmlsuperman, is offering copies for sale if anyone's interested. The link to that thread is here-

Excellent job, Andy! That's the one Twilight Zone figure Sideshow neglected to do. It's like painting The Last Supper without Jesus!

Wow!
Dude, you're scaring me! Excellent job on the likeness! :thumb
Cool man... Plain Cool.. Can hear saying.." Submitted for your Approval.."
And if you're thinking of maybe grabbing one of these heads, but are more military-centric in your figures, consider:

Rod Serling served as a U.S. Army paratrooper and demolition specialist with the 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 11th Airborne Division in the Pacific Theater in World War II from January 1943 to January 1945. He was seriously wounded in the wrist and knee during combat and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

Serling's military service deeply affected the rest of his life and informed much of his writing.
Fantastic sculpt, sir...
Damn fine job on the sculpt and figure as a whole!!!!!!

A classic american storyteller, The Twilight Zone ranks as one of the best television series ever produced, and trumps nearly every show out today in terms of sheer impact.

"They just dont make em like they used to".

Thats the signpost up ahead, your next stop....The Twilight Zone!
Wow!! Outstanding results:)
"Picture a man going on a journey..." Ding ding, ding ding, ding ding, ding ding.....

Cracking figure. I wonder if anyone ever did a Tor Johnson head, a Plan 9 bash has got to be done!

CHEERS!
Could be the nicest simple figure I've ever seen! The sculpt is unreal in it's likeness of the real man.
Jon
You've done a fine job on Mr Serling, Bob.
