I repainted the Erwin Fallie figure for the second time, but this time I just used layers and layers of washes. After laying down the base coat of washes, I applied pastels very sparingly, then sealed it and applied another two layers of the wash, then pastels, then wash, and so on...

But in result using washes doesn't leave a bunch of brush marks behind, I hope you guys can see a difference in the pics.
But I realized it looks A LOT BETTER in person than in the pics.
I guess I'm just gonna paint my figures with just washes and pastels now.

Awsome job on your Erwin:thumb The sculpt looks crisp, the hat looks neat, and I really like the gloves.. Iam waiting for a pair to arrive at my house. Great job!

No? Ok then, awesome re-paint. I thaught he had an awesome sculpt before, and now... :thumb

Erwin Stangengerg is my all time favourite sculpt,...and to see it painted like this is sheer brilliance!!!!!!!!!! :clap
Those eyes are ALIVE!!!!!!!!!....and even the little tuft of hair at the side of his head, looks like real hair!!!!!!!!!:wideyes

BRILLIANT!!!
