Here is a real quick, easy and cheap alternative to those expensive light boxes you see...and you can get good photos out of it...

1st find a cardboard box, the one i have is 20"Wx17"Hx15"D. Free
2nd get 3 lights, preferably all the same with good "daylight bulbs" about $20.00 although I got mine at a yard sale for $5.00 for all 3.
3rd get some poster board...color really doesn't matter...I choose white with very light lines/squares running though it. Walmart $3.75

Take your box and cut one side, usually the top so the one side is open. Then turn it on its side and cut a hole in the top. Take your poster board and tape it or glue it on the inside of the box, I only did the back drop and both sides, you can do all 4 side if you want (but not necessary). Remember to curve your backdrop alittle or the line will show. Set up your camera and lights and your off and running....see pic
