Fellas,
i have some questions regarding the RANGERS in OP Just Cause,Panama 1989.
OK here we go:
What Insignia was worn on BDU`s???
What about PASGT Body Armor???
What kind of boots were worn?? All Black or Green/Black??

I hope somebody can help me out....

I might try my hand on an Officer i.e Lt. or Captain...

Thanks in advance

75th Rangers back then from pics I've seen will wear the subdued battalion scroll on their left sleeves.

The couple of pics I have seen..from the Osprey books would be no on PASGT body armor...7th Infantry and units already in Panama did though from pics in those books.

OD jungle boots were worn..here are pics I have..first 2 are from the Osprey book..last one is from Power Series "Airborne Rangers"

I read a load-out list from a Ranger participant in OJC and body armor was not listed. The issue at hand was the extreme amount of weight and equipment they had to carry out the door to jump into Panama. I am sure if they were wearing body armor, it would have also been listed among the load they carried as it was of significant weight.

I also have seen pics of Rangers in Panama wearing the 75th Ranger Regiment scroll and Ranger tab (subdued).
