Hello at all,

i am interested in the HK416 in multicam from the Minitimes Seal Team Six Figure (M009). I have not found any review about this Figure or any of the parts. It is worth to buy and how good is the quality compared to E&S HK416? Any answer or link to an review would be very welcomend :thanks.

Greetings from Berlin and a good rest time in 2017

Responses here have been a bit tepid of late, Stefan, and the start of the new year may see people absent or tied up with other things. I've had no luck finding any conversations or reviews about the MC 416, either. I saw one of the SIX figures in the box, a few weeks ago, at a dealer's shop. We discussed how the series didn't seem to have "legs", say compared to "SEAL TEAM". I was surprised that the figures got made, I'm not a fan of the series myself, but their quality looked pretty good (no idea regarding the bodies).

Hopefully, someone will see this, who has one, and will chime in.
Happy New Year, Stefan!

Hello Mike,

i wish you too a happy new year :cheers!!! Thanks a lot for your fast answer. I had not expected a fast answer because of the New Year partys :). I am too have searched around before posting here but with no result. I have only two loose parts from the equipment in multicam from Mini Times and these are realy great done. I have no idea about the weapons quality from this manufacture. Would be great if someone have this Figure or weapon and can make a little review or just in-hand or open-box photos from it.:thumb

ok ok , i will do a quick write up soon. Damn i planned so many reviews but there is so little time.

Short story, mini-times toys is VERY HOT TOYs. I was expecting VERY BAD quality, BUT i was blown away by what i received. Their Hk416, with RAHG ? rails starting from the AOR 1 version were actually quite good. The multicam version is good too. Of course dont expect ES/SS/DAM quality. The accessories slide on the rails well, the butt stock isnt tight or loose, and the multicam paint job is delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised with it. I cant say the same for the rest of the minitimes figure. But the guns werent that bad.

Get one, but dont overpay. Ill post some pictures up later if i have time.

My HK416 in Multicam camo arrived at the weekend and it is really great done. The Details are really good and also there is a spring for the buffer tube. Works very nice. It needs a little force to get the attachments on that rails. I think it is because the camo paint. The eotech does not move on that rail. Just with a little force it does not slip on that rail. I have now used one from E&S. This works fantastic with little space to move it. I would highly recommend it.

These are a pretty easy way to get any optic/accessory that is rail based to fit. Just lay them flat on the underside of the accessory and do a few passes as required. Painted rifles often require a bit of fitment due to the thickness of the paint as you said.

I don't advise to sand those micro detailed parts or you may very well end up having to glue them together.
The plastic material no matter how rigid may appear retains a fair amount of elasticity: when I find hard to fit rails' accessories I put one drop of silicone oil and rub it on the rail and on its sides and they usually slide in place without much force. In extreme cases you may have to file a little bit the sides of the accessories' rail to enlarge that obtuse angle that hold the piece to the rail, but you have to be very careful.

Never had an issue in well over 50+ rifles. With a fine grit you aren't removing much, just deburring to remove flash and mold inconsistencies or removing enough to account for variances due to painted surfaces. Much safer than forcing something on.

To solve the little problem i have sand the inside rail of the accessory a little bit with the tip of a little screwdriver and it works fine now. I personally would never sand the rail or areas of the weapon. These rails are very fine detailed and if the weapon has a cammo paint i would fear to damage some of the details or paint. With sanding you always remove something. If you are very carefully it will work for you but there is no room for errors.
PS: The Eotech from Minitimes fit perfectly on an E&S HK416 without any force or sanding. It is not too loose or too tight :). The fit is better than the E&S original Eotech on the E&S HK416 :wink.

You never sand the rail, that would destroy the rifle. Sand the inside of the attachment you intend to slide onto the rail. There is no harm done. It has no detail anyway. Much better then squeezing or sliding with force.

Guys, I never said to force the accessories on the rail but in my >100 rifles experience using a drop of silicon oil as I wrote above will be sufficient to solve the problem: if at first inserting the attachment is requiring some firmness & attention as soon as it slides completely on the rail you can position it easily. If that doesn't happen you may need to use a micro triangular file or surgical blade to enlarge the attachment underside, but be very careful not to sand off the tiny shoulders that fit under the rail's ones and keep the accessories in place, else your last option rests with the glue...
