That would be 1/16 for the big ones, and they ride behind them on special cars on their own private tracks.Looks like blast

Yet in past shows, there were working engine bigger than those.
Sadly, this may have been the last show like this at ETJ, as the show organizer told me after doing this kind of thing since 1967, he wants to retire to warmer places, and isn't sure if there are any people wanting to do the work to put an event like this on. I have seen fewer exhibitors come over time, for many reasons I am sure you could all list.
