The new, latest ones are silicone-based, but all the older revs feel more like rubber to me. Are you sure those revs are also silicone based? There is a coating on the ones that came from Phicen (vs. the earliest ones that came from Tiger Brother) for the "tack free" skin, so maybe that's the problem with getting paint to stick.the bodies are silion based. I have yet to find anything that stick work a damn. I'm tempted to try some of the solvent based inks I use at work.
