My Lucha Libre Custom figures!!!

Hello there guys,
After doing El Muerto 1/6 custom figure and my 1/6 Ninja

My current project is 1/6 Lucha libre Figures!!
Thanks to Azteca and his friend who created this awesome Lucha Libre Outfits!!
So, here they are, the first test shots of El Santo, Blue Demon and Mil Mascaras with Hot Toys Muscular bodies, even though they aren't the standard lucha libre body, they look awesome!!! I still need to add the capes and get some bendable hands since right now I used HT Hicks and Superman hands.

What do you guys think?

I like 'em!

I still miss seeing the Luchadores on WCW Monday Nitro
El Dandy, La Parka, The Villanoes, Psycosis, and Silver King.

A todo madre. son brutos.
I love them and "lucha Libre" is very popular here in South Texas and across the "Rio Bravo". The black brackground sets off the figures. Just lovely.

Rey Misterio is my favorite on "smac-down" and I get a big "charge" when He does his "finishing move": the "619"

Nice Lucha Libre, you and Azteca have some great wrestlers. The HT muscle bodies were great choices, and make your pictures look perfect.

this outfits seriously rock! they're an amazing piece of art!
I'm glad you guys dig'em!

I'm not too fond of Rey Misterio Jr. because he lost his mask and still wears it, but he has defineetely done a great job in making people notice Lucha Libre here in the U.S. I'd say he's almost as famous as Mil Máscaras, but Mil is way more experienced and impressive!

That old be fun, Nacho Libre, ha ha ha, but it would require a heavier body...
But this are the real deal, the actual Luchadores and are legends!

I still find it hard to believe others remeber this guy... Outstanding work I was wandering why the Muscle bodies were'nt used on the original bashes... Very Nice work man..Azteca has not only provided inspriation but the materials as well. Nice work. Thanks for sharing.. With your permission I want to save a pic or two....

No problem, thanks for the compliments, please keep the pics if you want, I'll be taking some more soon!
And Mil Máscaras still has a huge following, mostly in Mexico, Japan and Latinos in the U.S., he stil wrestles at 60-something!!
I've been wanting to make lucha libre 1/6 figures for a long time, but until Azteca showed his stuff I wasn't able to find decent outfits. And then I couldn't find enough muscular bodies, until recently.
I just hope I can add the capes down the road!

i remember one night on nitro they finally gave the luchadors some screen time in a 6 man battle royal. great match, but the thing that sticks out in my mind was someone doing a full sprint suicide dive through the ropes, and la parka baseball swinging a chair right into his head as he flew through the ropes. it always disappointed me those guys rarely got any screen time, or were treated seriously. their matches were a lot better than another kevin nash kick/punch/clothesline fest. its great to see some luchas lovingly immortalized in plastic.

I have three of these outfits that I got from Azteca also. I put them in Hasbro SS bodies...I'll get some pics soon. These custom suits are so worth it. I need to get the other uniforms he has for sale. Nice use of the HT Muscle bodies.

Yep, La Parka is quite the wrestler, he's coming to Chicago this month! vs. Dr Wagner Jr. who is awesome too!! I'll definetely check it out live!!

Thanks dude! Yeah those outfits rock, and as much as I'd like to have Tinieblas, Rayo de Jalisco, Espectro and Blue Panther amongst others, I'll have to stop right there because the muscular bodies can be pretty expensive...oh well...

I'm bumping this thread to show you guys some upgrades!!
I added capes and additional clothes to them.
El Santo is sporting General Bevious' cape
Blue Demon is using BSG Adama's Robe and Cape
Mil Mascaras is using SS Monty Python's King's cape and and shirt.

I hope you guys like them!
