I wonder if calling a business by telephone nowadays is a lost form of communication?

MD still have a telephone number where an actual person can be reached at during business hours provided they're available and answer.

I've been fortunate in having all orders filled with no issues recently.

I respectfully & sincerely hope it's not the beginning of a negative trend. Given the occasional mob mentality, I know how some love jump on the pitchfork & torches bandwagon at times.

Another perspective . . .

There are not that many known & proven 1:6 dealers/retailers around any more.

MD is one of the longest and oldest mainstays within the 1:6 hobby.

I understand how some may feel about e-mail communications & timely follow ups and witnessed throughout the years and even recently how a 1:6 dealer/retailer can utterly falls to shambles & then some.

The OP needs to call MD and get his issue addressed if no response by e-mail after a reasonable amount of time.

I got a response and the correct item is in the mail. I've been a customer well north of a decade and was totally shocked that to wrong item was shipped the first go round. Like getting Batman instead of Superman. :fit:fit:fit I've been wanting a proper Enfield to finish my WWI Tommy. As for the phone I was too POed to have proper diction when addressing the issue at hand. A large order having a wrong item I understand but just one item? One needs to pay attention to what ones is doing and get back to basics of doing one thing right instead of doing multiple things wrong.

Glad to read the issue has been resolved.

Granted, anger gets the better of anyone at times when things don't go/happen the way it's supposed. I speak from experience.

At the same time, is the 1:6 hobby worth getting all worked up about? Coming from me, that's an odd question/statement.

We're only human and Monkey Depot is not just an automated business, but a business staffed by hobbyists like us. Mistakes can and will happen for a variety of reasons. This was the first mistake you experienced in how many years?

They addressed & resolved your issue.

The availability & selection of reliable 1:6 dealers/retailers nowadays is diminishing. The bottom line is that we're still customers and the businesses currently available needs us as much as we need them and support them to support the hobby.

I'm just saying.

I think this thread should be closed since the OP's issue has been addressed and everyone more or less chimed in.
