After Modern Life, I'm taking everything to do with this with a large pinch of salt. If they can deliver what they claim then fair enough. I doubt that it will be long before the Lennon head is recast and everyone else can get their hands on it.

I think the whole point from what I have heard is that the CEO says the quality is going to be so good no one will want a recast because it will be nowhere near as good as the original from them.

that head sculpt looks fantastic. but 299? I am already priced out. not about to start something I can't keep up. I am already crying/whining/ whatever anyone wants to call it about the prices Hot toys are charging (who I am on a hiatus from buying). Love my 1/6th figure, but not about to start paying 300 a figure.

They seem to be promising an awful lot, but delivering little so far. It's like they're hiring people to do prototype work for them and hoping that pre-orders will cover those costs. Making promises is one thing, following through on them is quite another.

Without a track record, it's hard to know what to do with them, take a chance and hope you don't get burned, or wait and see if anyone is....

Yeah, last time I looked at the SSF, they already had over a 1000 POs, were supposed to reveal the final proto at the end of last week, and they claimed they'd be shipping by the end of this month. I hope people aren't going to get burned on this.

I wouldn't drop a cent till I'd seen pics of at least a full figure. People are far too easily sucked in by hype these days. I worry about this lot, there could be a world of hurt about to open up.

I agree. I sincerely hope they deliver on their promises, I'd love to see what they do with the Willy Wonka license. But I've been burned in this hobby more than once so I'm taking a wait and see attitude as well.
