Major General Norman "Dutch" Cota and Colonel James Earl Rudder March 1945



Major General Norman "Dutch" Cota Commanding General of the 28th Infantry Division and Colonel James Earl Rudder Commanding Officer of the 110th Infantry Regiment in March 1945 after the Battle of the Colmar Pocket.

Very nice!

It's neat to see pictures of various regimental / divisional commanders. None as dramatic looking as someone like Patton, but very competant and capable looking.

Very cool, my uncle (what I call him) fought at the battle of the bulge and Colmar pocket with the 75th infantry. He has some really cool stories about his WWII days.
