Kumik makes a 8 inch body,I was thinking about buying one of them and this head sculpt,hopefully it would work with one of them! The biggest problem with dealing with these Chinese sellers is they are impossible to talk to,I asked a couple if they would photograph one of these heads on either the Kumik body or the small Phicen body and never heard back from any of them,maybe I'll have my Chinese exchange student email them in Chinese!

Use Google translator apps to translate. I can't read Mandarin for nuts, and I use these apps to translate my English sentences to Chinese, and copy paste both languages into my text changes with China sellers on Taobao! I use Hi Translate app on my handphone to translate reply text messages or pictures on my phone.

Kumik is too yellowish and would be a hard match for most HSs. I would buy the head 1st and try to match it to my existing collection to find the closes. Then work from there.

That sculpt has been floating around for a few years, but I’ve never seen anyone use it, yet. If you take one for the team and get it, you’ll have to share your experience. I bought a different unknown head sculpt a year ago, that looked like a child head, but none of the pictures were in context with other things (like a ruler, coin, etc.), so when I got it I was more than a little pissed that the thing was listed as 1/6 but was actually closer to 1/4-1/5! I got a refund, after filing a claim with eBay, but I still see that sculpt listed occasionally — and as 1/6th. It doesn’t work as an adult head, let alone as a child.

I bit the bullet and ordered the head sculpt and the small Kumik body,in a month ot so when it shows I'll be sure to post pictures!

That is a very versatile head sculpt! I assume the little boy headsculpt has a hair piece,skull cap type thing? When the long blonde hair one shows up I should be able to tell more. Thanks for the link,it didn't come up when I punched in "little girl".

They arrived today,the headsculpt is really cute,not sure if the body is small enough for it. The body has super long neck,I took the ball socket out of the head and it's just sitting on there for now. This picture shows all of my different girls,full size Phicen on the right,then the small stature Phicen,then the Kumik body with the little girl head sculpt and Hermione. The Kumik body and head sculpt comes in at about 4 1/2 feet tall. Now I'm going to have to raid my daughters Barbie clothes to see if I can find something to fit her!

Thanks for sharing the pic, it's helpful! I've been interested in this sculpt for a while, but was also not sure how it would work, size wise. I'm considering using one with an 11 cm Obitsu body [or something comparable, but a bit more robust if I can find anything], which is much more 'really little kid' childlike, but again.... not quite sure if it will work in terms of scale or not yet.

If that doesn't work, I might have to just cave and get one of those WorldBox Lakor child figures and mod it.

I'll probably end up cutting the Kumik body down to size,they are pretty cheap so I don't mind cutting it up,but I'll look up that Obitsu body first!

I received my Obitsu 11 body this afternoon,it's way too small, the 11 is over all height,at the very top of the neck,I was hoping it was shoulders or at least at the top of the head,if one is installed,not sure what to try neck,my wife suggested a Skipper doll body,I'll have yo look and see if I can find a cheap one.

Oh dear! I'm so sorry to see that -- based on the pics I'd seen, I had no idea the Obitsu was so tiny. Thanks for taking one for the team so to speak. Skipper is smaller than Barbie, though I thought she was more like a teenager? There's a little girl from the Barbie line known as 'Chelsea'... depending on how old of a child you are going for, that one might work?

I have four daughter so of coarse they have tons of barbie stuff,as soon as I got the head sculpt and the Kumik body and realized they weren't going to work together I went out and dug through my daughters barbie stock,they had the little kid so I popped the head off and brought it in the house,it's actually a little smaller then the Obitsu body!
I was hoping Obitsu made an 15-18 body but I couldn't find one,I found a 22 but that is about what the Kumik body is,I'll keep loking.
The skipper body is probably about the right height,and while she is rigid it's not too bad because they are just bystanders!

Oh wow, again... I wouldn't have guessed the little kid barbie was so very small, either. Good to know.

And certainly... for 'just' a bystander, that sounds like it will work just fine.

I found a Laura figure last week on ebay and bought it,it showed up today and it's quite a bit smaller then the Natalie Portman doll or the Hermione, which got me to thinking so I popped the head back off and tried the blonde child head,it's perfect,other then the obvious skin tome mismatch,but now I know what body fits that head,now I have to try to find just a body!
