I have several Hot Toys Star Wars figures. Has anyone ever heard of or seen any of the LED lightsabers burn out? I'd like to display them with the sabers turned out but fear they'll burn out over time.

Yes they are powered by a battery. I meant the actual LED itself burning out and not the battery.

Well so far as i know a LED will last 10000 X longer than an usual light bulb, so i think the led may outlast the figure and the saber i think.

My understanding of LED is that it will last longer if you leave it on and never turn it off.

Seriously? So it'd probably do more harm if I was turning it off every day vs just leaving it on?
