First off, I'd like to thank John [ JIN-ROH ] for his unending patience waiting for me to do these heads for him, basically I've had them for years....even so...he's been the most patient, sweetest guy and I'm so glad I finally got the first one finished today.

It's the young Ken when he was in the SF in Nam, I took the liberty to depict him after a lengthy jungle patrol...unshaven, dirty, sweaty and with the remnants of cam cream on his face and neck.

Really awesome. You really nailed it, not too much, or too little grit/dirt on him...even the beard is perfect! I also love how you weathered the headband at the back, small touches make the figure all the more realistic.

May I ask how you did the beard?
