It used to be that you couldn't go 4 weeks on a figure forum without a Bond thread/figure being posted, so here's me respecting tradition. :)

This is a bash I did of Daniel Craig as Bond at the ending of Casino Royale or opening of Quantum of Solace. I made the figure itself a few years ago, but never got around to posting it (admittedly because there are still unfinished bits of it).

Quantum of Solace is supposed to pick up immediately from the final scene of Casino Royale, but the filmmakers changed suit providers between films resulting in changes to the style of Bond's suit. I've chosen a 1:6 suit that is a hybrid of both: 3-piece dark navy pinstripe like from Casino Royale, but with a very fitted, modern cut like from Quantum. I starched the shirt collars and used a tie from elsewhere, but otherwise this is stock. Naturally, his product plac-- fine Omega watch had to be peeking out from the cuffs as well.

The "lake cuomo villa steps" stand / base is the very first base I ever sculpted, even before the Conan the Barbarian base I posted over a year ago. I was never happy with it (the steps are too curved), but it'll do for now. I still need to add a Casino Royale label onto it.

The HK UMP weapon was made from Dragon Models parts, then given a repaint. I'm pleased with how the metallic texture came out on the silencer, but not so much the body of the weapon. I know the body is supposed to be a polymer, but without the metal effect it just comes out looking plastic toy-like.

And finally, here it is on my shelf of suited killers. I think it's time to get more shelves..

It looks the part! On the whole...
Maybe you should really find a better version of the UMP: I don't know if you can find another better one. The size also doesn't look right:

One way you can improve the looks of this weapon is to use a semi gloss varnish on the metal parts and a dull matt paint on the plastic parts...
BTW it is the Lake of Como villa...

Your Bond figure in the background really looks like the real deal! Great!
If only, you might want to fill those legs a little bit more. They look a bit too thin wrt the rest of the body (torso, chest, head).
Thanks!

Thanks again, all!

Shazzdan -- I forget the company who originally made this Bond head. It's long sold out, but luckily it was knocked off and the KO is still widely available on ebay & other places. The KO's paint job & details are not as sharp as the original, but they are still quite acceptable: 1:6 James Bond 007 Daniel Craig Head Sculpt for Action Figure DIY-in Action & Toy Figures from Toys & Hobbies on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group
For my version, I repainted the hair (orig was much darker) but otherwise the paint job is stock. I have collected all of the non-custom CraigBond 1/6 heads over the years and so far this one & the Black Box one are the best.
